Boutique Hotel Golden Triangle

Lovely, small hotel right in the center of St. Petersburg. The hotel doesn't have a lot of amenities, but the breakfast is excellent, and the staff are kind and welcoming. The rooms are small - but clean. All in all, a good hotel in a great location.

The hotel is located within a 15 minute walk of all the major museums and attractions in the central city. No need for taxis, metro, or busses. The rooms are clean and comfortable--although small. The buffet breakfast that is included in the room charge is excellent. All in all a great hotel for the money.

Hotel Golden Triangle is a very nice, comfortable, and welcoming hotel in the center of St Petersburg, Russia. The staff is very polite and helpful. They all speak at least English. The concierge is there to help you to get taxi, to organize tours in the city and vicinity. You will get help with buying tickets to concerts and theaters. Hotel is located in the old building with high ceilings and thick walls that create perfect sound insulation. The building is nicely updated outside and beautifully remodelled inside. Out room was cosy (we booked a standard double room). The bed was comfy, so we enjoyed a good rest after the day of exploring the beauty of the historic places in St Petersburg. The temperature in the room was always comfortable - it was snowy outside, but we were always warm. There were white bathrobes, slippers, and all sort of toiletries in the bathroom. The room was cleaned daily. We will definitely stay in the same hotel on our next trip to St Petersburg.

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. Location is excellent for a visit to Hermitage and main attractions. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They organised 2 tickets to a concert at Grand Philarmonia Hall at face value, plus commission (UK website were charging more than double!). Room is well appointed and comfortable. Central heating is either fully on or off, which made it too warm. Despite it being -9C outside, I switched off the heating. Windows are triple-glazed so room did not feel cold at all Breakfast was very good, efficient staff kept things filled and tidy. St Petersburg in Winter is especially attractive, enjoy a walk on the frozen river and canals!

Ok so I will give the positives because overall this hotel was good. The position of the hotel in my opinion was perfect. Smack in the middle of Nevsky Prospect so ideal to walk to most sites by foot. Overall hotel staff were good and were accommodating. Hotel was clean and tidy. My stay included breakfast and what I saw seemed enough although I'm not a breakfast eater so I only had breakfast the one morning and was perfectly sufficient with hot and cold fare. Price as far as I'm concerned was also reasonable. Now for the negative but I stress this was just my personal experience and wouldn't assume this is the norm. My friend and I both booked separate rooms, I had a deluxe room, friend had standard room. Unfortunately my friend wasn't able to go and there was no chance of refund so we asked if I could have an upgrade instead. I was informed that they were please to inform me of an upgrade to a suite. On arrival room was perfect. Great size all for me. I arrived late teatime after a disaster of a taxi ride and wanted to just relax. The minute I stepped In my room there was knocking noises and drilling going on what seemed to be in the next room. I asked at receptioned and was told it would stop soon. It didn't it kept going for another 2 hours. When I mentioned again that it wasn't pleasant I was told it was the building next door and nothing could be done. I explained that I should have been told. I had to ask to change and was given a room next day.

5 mins walk to Metro and right at the heart of tourist spots. The staff are very friendly and went extra miles to assist us. The Carnegie desk helped to arrange taxi to theaters and airports with great service. Definitely recommend to friends and co-workers who wants to come to St. Petersburg.

It's a small hotel on three levels only - the rooms are tiny but it's location is great A great staff and concierge that was really helpful throughout our stay The breakfast was more than excellent
