Santa Monica Resorte

It’s quite a substandard property. I would say a lodge which was not like well maintained. Old fashioned apartment kind for people or rather hippies who don’t want stay in the room or just come to sleep. Thankfully the AC was working but the room, bed, toilet etc was just like a LIG flat.

Everything, from checkin experience to room. No lift, unconcerned or rather indifferent staff with straight face :-| (exactly like this) I don’t know why I booked.

This is the WORST, USELESS and utterly DISGUSTING resort I have ever stayed in my life. The owner is the most arrogant, mannerless, useless person who thinks that he owns some Tajmahal and argues with the customers and threatens them to vacate the hotel when we raise a simple complaint that there is no hot water. This is complimented with an equally useless, uneducated staff who don't know how to behave and provide service. The owner was shouting at us in a very loud voice and inspite of telling him to lower his voice, continued to threaten us and told that it's his way of speaking. This hotel is a disgrace to the Goa tourism and should be shut down. The rooms are very unhygienic without soap or hand wash and smelled very bad and musty. Heavily overpriced and they insist on paying in cash. Horrible experience and I request everyone to stay away from this so called resort, useless management. There are better resorts like Terra Paraiso right in the next lane and provide excellent service.
