Het aangename contact met het personeel ; je vraagt en wordt geholpen. Ze nemen tijd voor je bij vragen en zetten je op weg. Ook bij erg vroeg vertrek wordt voor een snack-ontbijt gezorgd. Absoluut top! Personeel is heel bekommerd om het welbevinden van zijn gasten. Heel erg fijn om te ervaren. Ook bij te vroeg aankomen wordt alles in het werk gesteld om je toch te voorzien van een kamer/rustplek. Een heerlijk mooie en rustgevende locatie in het hart van de medina. Ik ga terug, dat is zeker!

The riad is beautiful!!!

I loved everything about the place.

We had a wonderful 10 days at the Riad Karmela. Upon arrival, we were helped with our bags from Lycee Mohammed V square, which was very helpful. Then on check-in, the property was clearly explained to us, including all amenities, and they helped us to the room. We stayed in the Abdou suite, with rooftop terrace. The suite was clean and spacious, with excellent air conditioning. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit old, but worked perfectly and was clean. We loved our suite! Even without the private terrace, there were lots of spots around property to lounge in the sun or shade. The property itself is beautiful, and the amenities are generally good. There is a pool available to guests at the riad next door (same owners), but we didn't use it. The internet was very good, and the property was clean. We ate breakfast daily, and it was fantastic - croissants, toast, sweets, pancakes, and an omelet station - all included in the price. My only suggestion is that the coffee machines remain available all day - if you missed breakfast (8-10am), you missed coffee since they put the machines away and there is no coffee in the room. Coffee machines in the room might help as well. One other warning is that there are lots of stairs in this complex, without an elevator. So you should be able to climb stairs to stay here. Finally the location - brilliant! It's in the heart of the medina, and very safe even at night. Just don't be deterred by random people saying "the road ahead is closed". Stay the course - they are leading you elsewhere (we didn't want to know why). This happened late at night. Another caveat - no alcohol here. They don't yet have a liquor license, which can take some time to get. You can buy wine in the new city, but you must drink it privately, in your room. Shout out to the most helpful staff - Ibrahim and Omar - but all staff were so helpful! You were wonderful! Thank you also to the owners!

When we booked a bed and breakfast in the middle of the Medina, we were not sure what to expect. This place was absolutely wonderful. Very clean and every room had its own personality. And the food.. the breakfast was phenomenal and so are the evening meals. I've got to do a shout out to our guy Iman who took such good care of us. The wonderful part is that we were immersed in their culture and we were able to experience what the old towns really were.

Riad Karmela is an oasis of peace and calm in the middle of the Medina. We loved our stay here! We felt like we were staying inside a magical realism book, with secret stairs and hallways leading you to new rooms and floors, absolutely magical and stunning place! The rooftop area is beautiful as well. The rooms are spacious, quiet, and the beds are comfortable. The location is also perfect, as you are a short walk from everything in the Medina. However, the best part of Riad Karmela was the staff! They truly go above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed, always have a smile, and are ready to help at any point. I wish I was better at remembering names but we really appreciated everything they did to make it a special stay for my partner and I. Would definitely be staying here again whenever we return to Marrakech.

Very beautiful riad in the medina! Great breakfast on a rooftop terrace. Great service and amazing welcome from employees. Location, right in the center of Marrakech, but still giving you a wonderfully quiet and calm environment.

Many bees at the breakfast table, beds/mattresses were not of hotel quality (hard and slightly squeaky), airconditioning not working in some rooms.

So very lovely! We had the most beautiful room. The roof top terrace is gorgeous! Lots of hidden beauty. Each staff member was very helpful. Special thank you to Omar for all the fun with our five year old. And also big thank you to Hannan and Khaula (sorry, spelling!) in the Hamman, that was amazing. I strongly recommend. Fatima and everyone on reception desk were so kind and responsive from first phone call to goodbye.

We really enjoyed our visit. The hotel was clean and light. The staff could not have been more efficient and friendly.
