Quay Apartments

The location was good and the parking was ok but expensive for that kind of space. The kitchen and bathroom was very good. The place was also very clean and spacious. The lady that came to get me in and showed me where to park was amazing. She was patient and took me to the flat.

The sofa was very low and uncomfortable, the remote control was a pain to use. The tv was not connected to the Internet which was not supposed to be a problem but using the remote to sign in was beyond terrible. You have to press really hard and then it enters more letters, then you have to erase and try again. It took me almost an hour just connect to the Internet. The bed was the worst of all. It was not stable and the mattress was really soft to the extent you can almost feel the base. The base was weak and scattered when i raised up the mattress to check and I honestly thought it would break and my deposit would be gone. The bed actually feels like a trap. The entire place lacked decor and just plain white, it felt like the afterlife. I wanted to pay for late stay but I was glad I made it to 11am and ran for life. I used the quay apartment in manchester before and it felt like home, this one was a nightmare. It is just my experience and maybe someone will have a good time in another apartment there. The one I was given was really bad and should be looked at.

I booked and apartment for my wifes anniversary with a plan of going out in Manchester - I booked through booking.com 5 days before my stay however on the day of my stay I got a call from 'the host' who sounded quite aggressive he asked me questions like why do you want to stay at the property? who will you be attending with? whats the name of the person etc - I asked why this is necessary as I've never had this kind of interrogation booking a hotel before - The host then told me its because I live in the same town and people in the same town are known to be a nuisance - he then said check the fine print then hung up. After checking the fine print I can't see anywhere any Ts & Cs that state if you live in the same town you are unable to book here - to make things worse they only told me I can't stay on the day which made finding another property in a similar price range very difficult subsequently ruined my day and now I have to wait up to 10 working days to receive my money back. would NOT book here ever again.

Lovely large, airy, clean apartment. Well equipped. Excellent location. The free gym is a brilliant bonus. The guys who run the place are really helpful. Communication is excellent.

Good Location, good parking, clean and service was good by staff. Noise levels were all good. Rooms were good and very spacious. Good value for money as there was a concert going on.

Very decent and well kept apartment in a great location near Media City UK. Plenty of shops and bars nearby. Easy access to city center via the tram right outside

Be sure to get there before 10PM as there will be a late fee otherwise.

Visited with my wife for the weekend and spent s good time. The apartment was clean and everything was provided inside. The view was amazing and the staff helped a-lot looking forward to stay again.
