This was our first experience with a luxury hotel, so we do not know how it stacks up to other hotels in its class. The whole experience was fantastic. Check in was wonderful. Anais was very pleasant and attentive. Since it was our first time at the hotel, she took us to our room and pointed out all the room had to offer. Breakfast at the hotel's Brass Tack restaurant was extremely special. Our server James, was attentive to our needs without being overbearing. He shared his enthusiasm for walking in Chicago and we never felt like we had to hurry up and leave the restaurant. The hotel concierge, Logan, gave us great tips for walking from the hotel to some of the local museums. The housekeeping staff kept the room in impeccable shape and made sure that we were well stocked with water and chocolates. It was a joy to stay at the Waldorf and we hope to be able to stay there again in the future.

Had a wonderful 3 night stay here over the weekend! The hotel staff are amazing, kind and helpful. The hotel is very clean and the service is exceptional. Love the free car service within a mile and all drivers were fantastic and friendly. Love the turn down service and our suite was immaculately cleaned every day! Very luxurious and classy. Really lived up to its reputation as a luxury 5-star hotel! Hope to stay here again!

We had an excellent stay at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago. Our room was very spacious and well appointed, with two queen beds, a desk, and a very functional closet, along with plush robes and slippers. The bathroom was also a standout, finished in marble with a separate shower and toilet area, and plenty of space overall, with good Aesop amenities. Service was impeccable throughout the stay, attentive and consistently available. Housekeeping neatly organized our belongings in the bathroom and across the room. The hotel felt quiet and well managed, and the availability of 24-hour room service added to the overall convenience. The only slight tradeoff is the location. While still central and quiet, it is a bit removed from the heart of the Magnificent Mile, and it takes a little walking to get there or to the subway. That said, there are many coffee shops nearby and several very good restaurants within close range, so it’s still a practical base. Overall, a very comfortable and polished stay, with strong service and spacious accommodations.

A one service. From check in to check out. Excellent service. Especially Jesus the parking and bell guy! Top notch professionalism. Rooms were clean and amazing views!

the hotel was very good. The staff and rooms were outstanding. The only challenge was the gym. There was a giant TV but instead of showing the Masters it showed Hotel commercials! Also, the spa of a 5 star should have a cold plunge!

My husband and I have stayed at WA Chicago a handful of times and every experience is exceptional! We believe that is due to the team - from Logan and Sheryl, our concierges, to DeAndre, Nate, and Mia at the front desk, to Israel from room service, Bailey in housekeeping, and many more! They all work tirelessly to create a relaxing environment where you don't have to worry about a thing except having a wonderful time. This last visit was for work, but happened to coincide with my birthday, everyone went above and beyond to ensure I felt special and celebrated. From a fabulous room upgrade to the most stunning bouquet of flowers to a boat tour and delightful bottle of wine - everything was sheer enchantment. If you are a Diamond rewards member do not miss out on taking advantage of every opportunity provided to you during your stay to really get the most out of it!

We had a fantastic stay at the Waldorf Astoria Chicago recently. We booked two standard rooms, one through Hilton and one through Fine Hotels and Resorts. In advance of our stay, both the general manager and the staff were kind and responsive to our questions, and they even provided an extremely generous complimentary upgrade on both of our rooms to large, connecting suites. The extra space made all the difference for our family, and each suite had a fireplace (perfect on a cool night!) and a balcony with beautiful views. The hotel also arranged for complimentary welcome fruit, snacks, and beverages to be delivered for us-- a big hit with the kids! The pool was great and had floats, pool noodles, etc. available for the kids. The gym was fantastic, the spa was beautiful, and breakfast at the Brass Tack restaurant was excellent. The staff was so helpful and accommodating. We only stayed 1 night, but it was a wonderful mini-vacation for our family of five.

Recently, my wife and I wanted to get out of town so we jumped on Amtrak from West Palm Beach to Chicago , one of my favorite cities. (Amtrak was terrible, even with a full bedroom) Due to a recent fall and concussion, I was restricted from flying. We have stayed at the Waldorf several times and this stay reinforced why we come back whenever in Chicago, The service is impeccable. Such a great staff from housekeeping to the front desk, bellmen and restaurant servers. I used points and cash for a one bedroom terrace suite. The in-room fireplace made it extra special for a pair of Floridians! Great dining experiences and they know how to take care of Diamond members with a $25 per person food and beverage credit daily. Excellent location, a wonderful courtesy car service for trips under a mile and a helpful concierge. The Waldorf also delivers an indoor lap pool, workout center and spa services. Our favorite hotel in Chicago remains number 1!
