Aurora Oriental Resort Sharm El Sheikh

Having been to Egypt many times and to many places, sharm is the only place I have struggled to find a hotel in which I would return. That is until I stayed here. I visited Egypt for the first time ever in May without my husband but with my best friend and I cannot wait to rebook and return with my husband for him to experience this amazing hotel. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are amazing and the food is great. They even tried their hardest to accommodate my friend who has an allergy to dairy. It is also perfectly situated right in the heart of Nabq. If I was to pick, then I feel the main corridor to the right, that leads to all.the rooms could do with fresh paint and the gym opening times are poor. I like to get my workout in before breakfast so 9am is too late. I also had a horrible experience at the hotel hair salon and would not recommend. My hair was not washed properly underneath and was Still full of oil from the massage and he singed mine and my friends hair. He also took part of my eyebrows off without my consent when he was only supposed to thread underneath. Despite that though we had an amazing relaxing week. The staff work so hard. Special mentions to all Ahmeds around the pool, Alex from.the entertainment team, Mohammed who serves drinks in the main restaurant, Milad around the pool and Ahmed from the night security team. Our room.cleaner whose name I do not know, was also brilliant. I look forward to returning for another break here nearer the end of the year.

Just come back from 10 nights at the Aurora hotel where we celebrated my partners 50th birthday. Couldn’t fault the hotel or area at all everyone is so friendly and welcoming. I’d like to say a very special thank you to Ahmed Hosny for the most wonderful birthday meal on the beach, Ehad Dawood for cleaning our room everyday and Osama for having sunbeds ready for us everyday. All 3 men went above and beyond which made our holiday even more special. Thank you.

I had best holiday in ever, hotel was really lovely, staff couldn’t help you enough, food was good, hotel clean and tidy. I would like to say an extra thank you for the following staff who made the trip special. Mahmoud Ramadan. Faheim who worked in downstairs restaurant always made sure we had a table and got us drink - these two were so friendly and always hard working. Fady who worked in the beach bar was also so friendly, welcoming and hard working, he always made sure they we had drinks and such a polite person. Islam is the best photographer who was funny, friendly and great at taking pictures - highly recommend him. Amr Salem piano bar he was kind, friendly , hard working and always made us feel welcome. Animation team also kept us informed on what was going on. The supervisor Mustafa who worked at towel was also so friendly, hard working, always made us feel so welcome and made sure our cabana was made up. You have amazing staff please make sure manager recognise this as I don’t think they get enough recognition. Thank you for such an amazing holiday and I will be back once saved up the money.

Stayed at the Aurora Hotel recently and honestly had a very good experience. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with recommendations and any requests. We had a really good time overall, and the animation team did an amazing job — especially Jasmine, who made the experience even more enjoyable with her energy and friendliness.

Molly and Keith, UK Returned from our (lost count) visit to the Aurora Oriental on 21 May 2026. As always we had an amazing time courtesy of all the management and staff at what is our Egyptian home. A special mention to Nader (Recreation Manager) and his team for their attention in looking after for two weeks. Also to Milad who worked tirelessly in keeping everyone around the main pool supplied with drinks and to Hisham at the Terraza restaurant. Thank you to Faheem in the dining room, our young chef who kept us supplied with eggs (two and two) at breakfast and our pool bar chef for the chicken wing feast by the pool every day. Thank you to Executive Chef Mohamed Aly ELsafty for all your kindness. As usual there was a good selection of food and drinks and service was exceptional. The grounds were lovely as always and are a credit to the efforts of the gardners. Finally a big thank you to Ahmed Sobhy (manager) his management team and all members of staff for ensuring that every visit is a memorable experience.

A fantastic week at an amazing hotel. Thankyou to all the incredible staff. From the lifeguards to the animation team (who were amazing with our little boy) to the chefs for amazing food, and the pool guy who kept us topped up with drinks all day long! For those worrying about fussy little eaters this place has more than enough choice! And hey if all else fails they can eat cake and ice cream 🤣🤣🤣 Thankyou again to all the wonderful staff for making our holiday a brilliant one

This was our third visit to the Aurora in the last year . Once again food,cleanliness and staff are in our opinion the best in Sharm. We are looking forward to our next visit in November. For us location is fine (taxis are cheap ) . Hotel has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. Once again a big thank you to all staff
