Club Wyndham Mission Beach

How run down and shabby it was. Mould and rust in bathroom. Sink and famines in bathroom sub standard. Cushions torn in community lounge. TV in our room did not function fully.

Location of this property is excellent, it is almost on the beach. The resort is quiet and relaxing, pool was very nice. Beach is great for doing long walks you can ride a bike on the sand it’s so hard. Good restaurants just a short walk from the resort. The room was dated, bed was excellent. The balcony on the top floor is excellent lots of room and nice relaxing chairs to sit in with a fantastic view of the ocean. Staff were very friendly. Massage lady did great relaxing massages would highly recommend her I can’t remember her name.

Didn’t have anything that I didn’t like.

Location was lovely right on the beach. The bar and restaurant were excellent, I didn’t have to leave the resort.

Great beachfront location, nice bar and ala carte breakfast, (We didn't have dinner, so can't comment, though food looked nice). Nice views, easy short walk to restaurants and bars. No supermarket, you have to drive to South Mission Beach about 3km away.

Rooms are looking a bit tired, but are going to get a revamp soon.

Well this stay was the 3rd year in a row that we have stayed here for 2 weeks at a time, it is really the location and the town, that so impresses us, it is in particular my wife’s favourite holiday destination in Australia and to a large extent mine. It’s the friendly people in the town of Mission Beach, not too big, not too small and the magnificent beach. I try and go in the sea everyday, but l am a bit concerned by the possibility of coming across a crocodile. We only come in the non-stringer season.

Well l think Castaways ( Club Wyndham now ), needs a lot of attention, the 2 pools for instance, l do laps in the lap pool with goggles and both pools differently need to be cleaned better, using a automatic cleaner occasionally just doesn’t get the bottom and side surfaces clean enough. Our room 102, the TV wasn’t even a Smart TV and the day after we arrived this time, the cable was cut at Dunk Island, l complained to cleaning room manager, but we had no TV for over a week, we had to view on our phones only, until l mentioned to manager and he organised a replacement TV. On the Northern Side on the building some air-conditioner bottoms are completely rusted out. We don’t eat at the Resort Restaurant because it’s too expensive.
