Great hotel, we loved so much we will go back one more night

Very friendly staff, welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. Conveniently situated for beach and bus route

Very difficult to find hotel from instructions given. Rooms are basic but clean. The Cleaners were brilliant. Very hardworking. There are few utensils in the room. Not even a sharp knife! We were looking for a quiet holiday but were disappointed. There were several younger people staying who were very selfish and noisy. The pool area is small and therefore not conducive to dive bombing. There were also people smoking and drinking whilst in the pool. The proprietors did nothing to stop this.

The staff at roula villa could not have been more helpful. The room was great. We were informed about then free safe and air con on arrival. The room was cleaned daily also clean towels and bed linen dail,, We stayed for 10 nights it was a ideal base to see rest of the island from... I cannot understand why this is a 2 star rated... We have stayed in 4 star that has not been so so good as the roula villa we recommend it highly August 2012

This is the third time we have stayed at Roula Villa and once again we had a fantastic time. Nothing is too much trouble for Angel and Sissy and their staff. The villa is set back from the main roads in Perissa, but only 5 - 10 minutes from the beach and a wide range of restaurants, although sadly the little shopping centre and some restaurants have fallen victim to the economic crisis. We would recommend and will hopefully return ourselves.

We tried to call the hotel several times to state we would be arriving in the early hours of the morning however the phone would never be answered. We ended up having to sleep on the pool deck chairs until reception arrived at around 10am. The hotel reception was very defensive about the issue and we were not refunded the nights accomodation cost! Other than this problem though, the hotel is clean and in a good location. Also,transfers are not included in the price, so if you arrive early morning and the bus isn't running it will cost you around €25 to get to the hotel.

We were surprised at how nice this hotel was. It was only a five minute walk to the beach which was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool looked nice, although we never swam in it since the beach was so close. Our room was quite large. For what we paid, this was an amazing deal, we actually ended up staying here longer than we had originally planned and cancelled our stay in Crete to stay here.

We liked this hotel so much, we stayed for a few extra days. It was close to the beach, and clean. The A/C worked well.

Owners were lovely and very helpful. Place was clean and had an awesome relaxed vibe about it. Great location if you want to be close to the beach. Public transport isn't too bad however the last bus at night is 11 so you can't really spend nights in the main cities unless you get a taxi or have your own transport. Buses do get crowded and are a bit expensive and are usually late. Awesome resort would love to go back :)

It is with great pleasure that I have the opportunity to write a review about my recent stay at Roula Villa. I am extremely fortunate to have a job that takes me to every corner of the globe, which of course means that I have the pleasure of visting and staying at some amzing places around the world. My stay in Santorini is rated by myself as #1. The most incredible place in the world to visit. Now this is two fold. Firstly Santori is an amazing place, if you have done any research on this island you will see that it is without doubt a very beautiful place. But what is a very beautiful place if you do not feel welcome and safe there? This is where Roula Villa differentiates the good Villa's from the great villa's. This is a wonderful place to stay. The staff made me feel welcomed from the minute I arrived. Ad well as the locals in the area. For me, first impressions last. When I was greeted with a big smile and a warm welcome.....at 4am in the morning!!! I knew this was going to be a place that I was going to enjoy staying at. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Each room is air conditioned, there is WiFi around the pool area which is nice and fast, so it's easy to keep in contact with your friends and family, or take care of business needs. You can visit easily all of the other wonderful atarctions in Santorini from Perissa, either by bus, rent an ATV, Scooter, or car. All of which can be taken care of by letting the staff at Roula Villa know. They are more than happy to give you advice or help you with planning excursions. I really can't speak highly enough about my stay at Roula Villa and would reccomend it to anyone. This Villa really does deliver 'bang for your buck'. I hope you enjoy your stay. And if you're planning on going in 2012, hopefully I'll see you there because I have already booked my room for next year!
