Dale Head Hall Lakeside Hotel

We only stayed one night, but its dated, makes it feel dirty, the bed felt like every spring had gone If the price was right i would stay again, however its twice what it should be considering the facility On a good note breakfast was lovely and the staff couldnt do enough for you.

Great staff and fantastic views, very short walk to footpath for Helvellyn. Great lake walk straight out of the back of the hotel. Decor a little dated, but cosy and well worth the money. Breakfast is very nice as well.

Loved the lake view. Property a bit tired and would benefit from refurbishment

Great views while enjoying a cuppa :-) Shower took a while to get to an acceptable temperature and water pressure very poor. Everything else as expected for an older property

The location was perfect . The bartender , cook and receptionist did a perfect job - it was all Dale - he was great . The hotel and view could not have been better .

Character old house set in a picturesque quiet location. family run and friendly, good breakfast. centrally located to make exploring the lakes easy. would stay here again.

Great location, attentive staff, comfortable quiet room. Pub serving evening meals just across the road.
