BQ Belvedere Hotel

Brilliant hotel. Staff on reception *shout out to Vicki! were helpful and knowledgeable about the area advising on places to visit and avoid. Check in wasn't until 3 but this isn't a problem with luggage room which also had changing room and showers, so able to use the pool area on 1st and last day. (Checkout at 12). Food was fantastic we was booked B&B and wish we'd gone all inclusive tbh. We ate at the hotel 2/3 nights. There was so much choice. €22 for adult for evening meal. All you can eat, with different themes daily, drinks were reasonably priced. Chips and burgers available at pool side bar thoughout the day. Past reviews complained about slow service at the pool bar but we never had a problem. No longer than my local bar at home. Pool was impressive and plenty of room to swim. Shop on site sold pool noodles, souvenirs, beach clothes, towels etc. Not a large selection of drinks or snacks but they sold cans of san Miguel and pringles so we were happy but not much more. Closes at 6ish. Vending machines in reception. Gym was adequate if that's your thing and always quiet. Massage €60 for 60mins and hair braiding (from 4pm) by the pool. Hotel bar doesn't open until 7pm which was kinda a shame as a cold beer in air conditioning would have been very welcomed. Evening entertainment was great and activities goin on by the pool if you want to join in. Steps down to the beach (see pics) or a roadside walk with little or no pavement so do be careful if venturing that way. Bars and restaurants to choose from en route were plenty and the local beach was small but beautiful. €5 taxi bk uphill as was so hot just couldn't face it. We did prefer this to the beach at Palma Nova. Free shuttle there as advertised however we had no idea how to get bk. Didn't think lol so €15 later were bk at the hotel and enjoying the pool. Palma was stunning! €10 each into the cathedral. No issues here we paid online and went straight in. €60 got us a relaxing horse drawn carriage ride around the old town. Driver was lovely and informative about what we was passing. Kind enough to take photos at the end. Hotel has many lifts and ramps to make areas accessible however you wouldn't get a wheelchair down the side of the beds as rooms are quite small. Yes our balcony over looked the bin yard and car park though you had to look over to see this. Once sat or just looking ahead you had a lovely view of a castle and sea. Hotel was brilliant for kids as they have kids club a small park and pool area as well as an evening disco. We look forward to visiting again in the future with friends.

Fabulous, value for money hotel!! I stayed for 5 nights on my first solo trip abroad. Hotel was clean and spacious. I upgraded to the all inclusive option as it was great value and I originally had just B and B. Food and drink choices were great. Daily maid service. Sunbeds always available. Although no kettle in the room I didn’t need it. Free shuttle bus to beach or you could walk. Easy access to Palma with local bus too. All staff very helpful. 20 mins to and from Palma airport. I would definitely visit again.

Wir waren nach einer Kreuzfahrt noch für 3 Tage vor Ort. Das Hotel ist ok, nichts besonderes. Frühstück war allerdings sehr reichhaltig und gut. Die Zimmer waren sauber und wir hatten den gebuchten Meerblick. Der Ort selber hat uns nicht ganz so gut gefallen. Der Shuttle Bus zum Strand in Palmanova war prima. Der Strand dort ist wirklich toll.

I stayed with my young teenage daughter for 4 nights here and genuinely didn't want to leave. The staff work incredibly hard and were helpful, polite, and gave good advice when I enquired over travelling into Palma city (we were booked a taxi too). My single parent room was in fact a standard double with sofa bed/enormous balcony that overlooked woodland; for us perfect! We felt very safe, it was quiet, the food was excellent, varied and beautifully presented. The snacks and healthy options/fruit plates were great too. Pool area brilliant, with plenty of sunbeds, quiet garden space or nearer the bars, restaurant/pool games when run if you want? We stayed out until sunset most days there. It is a place where you can take or leave the entertainment. We enjoyed the high standard but were able to move away to play cards or sit in the bar area for quieter time. Lovely families around us and well behaved children; a welcome relief from recent all-inclusive holidays i've taken. I would thoroughly recommend it and stay longer/gladly return. We went to the city of Palma and Cala Mayor beach without any difficulty and chilled in the short time we had. *5 from us. We have just rebooked to return to the island in August but sadly no availability at BQ. I would ignore poor reviews personally and hope that my pictures help anyone looking for peace and tranquility in comfort but with some fun and entertainment if you want it.

Just returned with my mother in law from a week at bq belvedere from a much needed holiday break the hotel was what we expected and more after we arrived in early hours after a flight delay and a incompetent assistance staff at palma we were checked in by a lovely lady from Hungary who was very pleasant we had single rooms which to us were big enough for one the only downside sides were was no kettle which would be a bonus and the shower was very small even for smaller people the hotel was kept spotlessly clean from rooms where bed and towels were changed daily to dinning room to all areas and pool area plenty of sunbeds food was good plenty of choice at all meal times the reception staff were very pleasant and helpful with one exception of one older lady who was very unhelpful and very rude and unpleasant to my mother in law which was unacceptable the dining staff and bar staff work very hard and were very pleasant the entertainment team were fantastic plenty of daytime activities which were fab and plentiful the shows in evening good especially the variety show by entertainment team was brilliantly done and halirous funny well done to entertainment team had a fantastic massage best I've ever had well done and thanks to all for a great holiday would recommend and would return

All staff go above and beyond, to make your stay the best, food in the restaurant is good, and drinks are good to, if I have to fault it then the only thing would be is that it is slightly a little bit away from other places although there is a free courtesy bus that goes to palm nova. Also getting around isn’t a problem about €20 for a taxi to Santa ponsa 1 way and there is a bus stop outside the hotel to the left you can easily get the bus to palma for around €2 one way. The hotel itself is good, clean though and worth a stay.
