"Kelly the Belgian. We loved her!"

The experience was utterly fantastic, from the plane flight, to the hotel, it was brilliant. The TUI rep Kelly (Belgian I think) was truly superb. She was knowledgeable, approachable, brilliant communicator in many languages, and so professional!

"Good"

This is not a 4* hotel, it is 3 stars at most. Overall, yes, I had a pleasant holiday at BQ Belvedere, but there were some things that let it down. Cleanliness was okay but lacking in detail - grime under the bed, under the sink and ants and silverfish in the bathroom. But what was worse was the appalling attitude of the restaurant and bar staff. Very rude, passive aggressive and generally unhappy to have to serve anyone. Customer service beyond the reception team was significantly lacking. Although I would go back to Palma, I would NOT stay here again!

"Lovely relaxing holiday."

I go to this hotel every year and always have a lovely relaxing holiday. Not alot in the nearby area but the hotel runs a free bus into nearby Palma nova which has plenty of shops and a lovely beach. Lovely big pool with loads of sunbeds, never had a problem getting one. Lots of choice of food in the restaurant including homemade pizza which is great.

"Loved this hotel"

Staff - all the staff I interracted with were friendly and helpful and answered all questions about local area, bus times etc. Food and Drink - I was All Inclusive. The food was plentiful, varied and of a high standard. You could wait to be offered drinks at times but usually the service was great. The Hall Bar had table service from friendly and chatty staff. Most of the All Inc versions of drinks were perfectly acceptable - the only one where I had to pay for the original was Aperol - the AI version was not brilliant. The pool bar was very busy but speedy to get served - again very pleasant servers. The only food I tried at the pool bar was the fruit salad which was good. Bedroom - nice and spacious, spotlessly clean, plenty of electric sockets, good wardrobe space, comfortable bed and pillows - changed 3 times in my 11 night stay, nice big balcony. The bathroom was spotlessly clean, good shower, nice body and hair gels provided. Towels were changed if you left them on the floor. Pool - very nice pool but quite deep at entrance points. It opened at 10 each morning. There are absolutely loads of sunloungers , no sunbed wars here - you can come at any time of the day and find free beds. There are plenty of parasols but lots of shade to be found beneath the trees in the nice well maintained gardens. Entertainment - the team worked very hard with fun and games throughout the day, and there was entertainment most evenings but I liked the Hall bar after dinner best. There is a luggage room, shower and changing room in the basement where there is also a shop and the gym. Lifts - there are 5 lifts but they are quite slow and you can wait quite a while at busy times but that is a small price to pay. All in all a really nice hotel which I will definitely return to in the future.

"Thank you BELVEDERE "

An amazing family hotel offering excellent service and brilliant food. Rooms are cleaned daily, various bars and a restaurant offering paella, a roast carvery, 3 pastas, children's options, salads and various fruit and deserts every day. There is a snack bar which has the biggest range I have seen in a snack bar. The entertainment caters for children and adults during the day and evening. We were all inclusive but there are other options too. The real stars are behind reception who speak various languages led by Denis and Alba who were a credit to the hotel.

"8 night relaxing break away"

We were very happy with our stay, staff were very friendly and the evening drinks table service was a bonus as is the regular free bus to Palma Nova. Entertainment - We really enjoyed the magic show and the juggling shows but unfortunately not all the shows are equally good. One small gripe was the lack of a drying line on the balcony. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back

"Not our cuppa tea"

Only took around 15/20 mins to arrive at the hotel from the airport, we were the first drop off. Upon arrival check in was pretty straight forward, first impressions of the hotel were clean and modern. Staff was helpful in giving you information. We arrived around 11.30am and were told our room would not be ready until 3pm. There is a luggage room so that you can leave your suitcase but it’s just a room and you’re not able to lock your luggage away so is pretty unsafe. You’re able to have a shower in there too but to be honest I wouldn’t they aren’t the cleanest. The hotel wasn’t overly busy with guests but in going out to the pool area there was a lot people but plenty of sun loungers. Loud music playing around the pool and drinks were clearly flowing for the all inclusive. We had a wonder round to get our bearings. We went out of the complex and explored places to go for food and drinks were flowing etc as we were bed and breakfast … we don’t like being confined to one place. The hotel is situated at the top of a hill there is a lot of steps so not ideal is your mobility is poor. The roads barely have any pavements if any at all on route to the main bars/ restaurants so it’s quite unsafe. The locals drive like maniacs they don’t stop at pedestrian crossings majority of the time or traffic lights so be wary!! We found the locals to be quite rude it’s obvious they don’t like tourists. There were 3 bars/restaurants we found to be very friendly and welcoming. We only ate breakfast 3 mornings out of the 10 day stay it was pretty average and was like feeding time at the zoo with all the Germans queuing and rushing to get a table although there was plenty. It wasn’t our cup of tea so chose to eat out. Again we never spent one day around the complex mostly foreigners …. Germans/dutch that look at you like something they’ve trodden in. Rooms average nothing special. Upon check out the bloke on reception was a miserable sod I asked to check out he gave us out 10€ deposit back for the save and then just walked away and said nothing else to us. I asked if that was everything and he just said …. Yes bye. Never asked if we enjoyed our stay or anything. Not a place we would return to EVER.

"This is at most, a 3 star hotel. Rude staff and not as clean as you’d think!"

We had a great stay in Palma — exactly what we wanted, full of history, culture, and plenty of sun. The hotel itself was nice, with a good room that gave us a fantastic pool view and views of the surrounding area. Its location, just outside Palma, meant it was easy to travel in and out but quiet enough at night to avoid too much noise. The all-inclusive buffet offered a nice mix and cycle of food options, and the snack bar staples like burgers, pizza, and fries were always handy. The pool was big and enjoyable, and the convenience of a small shop on the lower level was perfect for picking up essentials like sunscreen or shampoo. However, there were some areas where the hotel fell short. Check-in took longer than expected, which isn’t ideal after a day of travel. The rooms were generally “clean,” but not with much attention to detail — we noticed dust and grime under the bed and sink, and occasionally small ants in the bathroom. Some plates and cutlery at the buffet also weren’t properly cleaned before being put back out, which didn’t feel up to 4-star standard. Because of these details, the experience felt more like a decent 3-star hotel than a strong 4-star one. The biggest disappointment, though, was the attitude of the serving staff in the buffet and bars. They were consistently moody, unfriendly, and often passive-aggressive, making us feel like we were bothering them just by being there. Not once did we see a smile, and interactions were short, glib, and at times bordering on rude. On our final night, a server at the buffet slammed our drinks down without a word, which felt unnecessary and uncalled for. It’s a shame, because the reception team, cleaning staff, and lifeguard were all pleasant and approachable — but the service experience in the dining areas really soured our stay. Sadly, this poor level of customer service left us disappointed and means we would not choose to stay at BQ Belvedere again. Next time we return to Palma, we’ll be looking for a hotel with a friendlier and more welcoming team.

"Fantastic short stay with family"

Visited here for a short week with a family member. Everything about the hotel fantastic. The staff, rooms, food, drink and facilities were all brilliant!!! Well well worth a visit. Great location close to the airport
