Second time staying here in matter of weeks,everything was perfect.
Very friendly staff, room was very nice with a sea view and two big comfortable chairs to sit on looking out to sea watching the car ferry’s coming and going.

Room was clean, facilities were good, staff were friendly. Could be such a grand hotel but it needs a massive amount of investment. The front facade looks like it's ready to fall away from the structure. Really looks dangerous. Main timber beams are rotten.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was fine for what we needed. We had dogs with us. We had dinner in the bar, it was ok. But we decided not to stay for breakfast. Great for getting the ferry. The hotel is old and needs a lot of money to spend on it but the owners are trying. We would stay again as it’s affordable and very friendly.
I really like this hotel. If you like old style architecture like me this is great. We stayed in the arran room where the view was amazing looking down on the ferry terminal. The room was spacious and comfortable.
