Our room had been poorly decorated. The windows were dirty. The bathroom floor looked grubby because it was covered in paint splodges. The water pressure in the shower was very low. The beverage tray was poor. We had two mugs and just one teaspoon . We had 2 rooms and both had these problems. Breakfast was mediocre.
The receptionist Maisie (I hope I got the spelling right) is lovely and super helpful. All the catering staff are also great. Love the location near the viaduct. The gym and fitness centre is also great!

Super hotel. Delicious food. Two different places to eat with different menus. Decor is modern and recently done. Place is immaculate. All staff are outstanding - special shout out to Maisy in the restaurant - so attentive and endlessly energetic!
Not perfect im afraid !! Asked for a room next door to our family and was told they had been upgraded and we were on a differnt floor ,fine overall lovely room but not next door Breakfast on the sunday was perfect it was a buffet and loved it .on the monday terrible it was inedible i think it had been left from the day before.spoke to the reception and all the could do was apologise 😞 not really good enough.on leaving the room i always strip our bed and found terrible stains on the duvet again told they can only apologise 😠
Our second stay here and we returned because we were very impressed last time. The check-in process was very smooth and efficient. Staff were polite, professional and helpful. The room, reception, bar and leisure club were very clean and bright. Food was tasty and well presented. The only thing that was a little disappointing was the free WiFi. It would hardly connect and once it was connected it was very slow. Improve that and it would be a 5-star review.

The overall hotel was lovely. We had a room above the kitchen, which was very noisy late into the night. And this morning we were woken up at 5.30am with the noise from the washing machines ans tumble dryer. The staff were very pleasant but unorganised
The staff were amazing nothing is too much trouble , the food is not cheap but it’s incredible quality and the facilities are fantastic
