Hyggeligt sted, men ligger et stykke fra Montepulciano. Ville bo der igen.

We stayed here for one night on our travels because we wanted to explore Montepulciano which was 6kms away. Our room had valley views with a small balcony, the bed was comfortable, windows had good block out from the early morning light and the couple running the place were very nice. The breakfast was the best we have had so far in Italy.

Hotel was ok, basic and we were only there for one night. Breakfast was ok. Checking in was easy but no chat or friendliness to be honest. Didn't feel we could ask about location or where to go etc. Outside of the hotel could do with sorting out as wasn't really anywhere to relax. View was the best aspect of the hotel.

Although most of the reviews on venere.com not too positive, the opposite is true. A very pleasant surprise! Quiet, clean hotel in a beautiful landscape. Breakfast was very tasty and varied, staff friendly and helpful. If you do not desire a luxury hotel, but only want to spend the night in a nice place, I recommend this small hotel. I'm sure once we return in the future.

Good view, Nice people, decent breakfast but that's where the positives end. After checking around online for a inexpensive option, close to town this was all that poped up, I really could have keeper looking. This hotel is timewarped out of the 70s, not sure I would stay there again.

First of all the good things: the location is really convenient, at least if you have a car. Within a few minutes drive you reach a train station (Chiusi), Montepulciano and the most beautiful part of Val d'Orcia. Good start if you do daily trips. The room has a balcony which is nice. And the breakfast is for Italy really good - not only sweet but also, as the north europeans like it, with cheese and cold cuts. The staff is nice and friendly. Now the worse things: the hotel is really, really dated. Since approx. 40 years nothing is done. The bathroom is horrible and the flush doesn't work. The room is bare and cold, the furnitures are more bulky waste then real furnitures. You can feel that there is a lack of money to do some renovation. But sometimes it does not need a lot of money - just a bit of love... Unfortunately they turend the heat off, even it was 8C at night and 12-14C during the day. So in the room it was also only max. 14C which was sooo cold... The internet does not work properly, you can only read mails, you can not enter the internet, it was too slow. This was a real problem for me since I only book hotels with internet because I have to work. The rooms are not sound-proofed, if the neighbour flushes it is like a train is going trough your room... It is more a hostel than a hotel.

This hotel was a real surprise for me on my Tuscany trip. The view is simply breathtaking, service was excellent, the staff was very kind and helpful. I would recommend for those who seek the real Tuscany and want to experience its real beauty and calmness.

El hotel está a 4 km de Montepulciano. Es viejo, el agua caliente tarda una eternidad en salir. No le encontramos ningún atractivo y para lo que ofrecía nos parece un poco caro. Eso sí, el trato fue muy bueno.
