Jardim do Vau

Localização, limpeza dos espaços.

Faltou escorredor de loiça já que o apartamento não possui de máquina de lavar loiça.

Ens va agradar tot. Ens va sorprenda lo gran que era l'apartament. Tenia una cuina-memjador molt ample, una bona terrassa i una habitació doble molt gran. Tenia aire acondicionat tant al menjador com a l'habitació. El complex tenia un petit supermercat pero si tens cotxe es millor anar al lidl o aldi que queden a uns 4km. Tenia acces directe a la platja, i mai hi havia problemes per aparcar davant de l'apartament. La zona és un bon punt per visitar les millors platges de Algarve. A 30 minuts de Lagos i a 35 minuts de Praia Marinha. Tornaria a repetir segur!! A mes cada dia feien la neteja de l'apartament i era genial!! Si vols ambient no es la millor zona, doncs esta apartat del nucli urbà, es pot anar passejant i son uns 3km.

Appartement spacieux, très belle piscine

Hébergement qui mériterait une remise au goût du jour, prix un peu élevé.

I first visited Vau 20 years ago and loved it’s proximity to Alvor and Praia da rocha, while at the same time being away from the madness and also having such a great beach with some nice restaurants. We’ve been back since, and have always wanted to stay here. We would walk by it and figure it’s probably the best place in the area. So finally booked it this time. It’s definitely less commercial than 20 years ago. Clearly many tour operators don’t use it, so most guests, like ourselves, simply booked directly. We opted for the back block away from the pool. We were on the top (4th) floor, 2 bed, 2 bathrooms with a fabulous sea view. Aircon throughout. Apparently the poolside apts don’t have aircon. The apartment was very spacious, with all amenities in the kitchen. Microwave, filter coffee machine, full cooker with oven (if you’re bothered to cook). Even a dishwasher and washing machine. Bring tablets if required. The apartments are cleaned daily, with towel change if required. Quite rare to get a daily clean nowadays so a nice bonus. The apartments are dated, probably top notch in the early noughties, but clearly really well maintained. Everything is spotless and the rooms felt like they had been freshly painted. Pool area is quiet with no music. Loungers were always easy to get, even at around 10.30. Seems to have enough to cater for volume of guests. Pool is lovely but very deep very quickly, so not ideal.pool bar opened 11/11.30, so a bit late too if you want a morning coffee. Nice enough for lunch though. Closes at 6, despite happy hour being 6-7!!!! The little mini market on site was handy. Not much stock though. Limited fresh bread and rolls. Overall it’s one of the best complexes we’ve stayed in. With direct beach access, it’s hard to fault. Our kids are 8,11,17. If younger you might miss a kids club and shallower pool

Brilliant hotel. Immaculately clean. Fresh beach towels. There is no issue at all getting sunbeds. The pool area is brilliant. Right on the beach. The 2 bed room pool view we had was perfect for family of 5..

We only spent a night at Jardim do Vau but it was excellent! We had a warm welcome from Elsa ( on reception) when we arrived. We were slightly earlier than the check in time but Elsa still booked us in as the rooms were ready. The next day we were allowed to stay and use the facilities after check out whilst waiting for our villa to be ready. Highly recommended 👌

Slightly noisy neighbours but no real issue.
