Hotel Rural Quinta do Marco

Quarto grandes e muito bem decorados. Espaço exterior lindíssimo.

Nice grounds, pleasant staff, pool nice. Room we stayed in was tired. Bathroom needed grout cleaning, wouldn’t expect mould on grout in a hotel of this calibre. Wifi poor- it is a slightly rural location but the signal was poor in the rooms (non existent) and fine at the pool side so this shows there is an ability to improve WiFi. No coffee or tea in the rooms but a kettle and 2 cups and 2 glasses- we were staying as a family of 4 so would need more than 2 but no coffee or tea provided anyway. Poolside food nice and staff nice. Breakfast lovely and fresh and plenty of choice. Hotel nicr but not worth over €200 a night sadly.

The rural location was stunning. Views over the hills, lots of birds and very peaceful. We were a little sad for the animals which were kept in the back of the hotel. Their enclosure was run down and dirty and the donkey looked particularly unhappy.

This is a nice hotel away from the busy coastline, ideal as base for day trips exploring the region. It has a very relaxing atmosphere and serves good food.

The staff were really friendly and helpful - we stayed for 10 days and felt by the end that we were friends with Goncalo, Paulo and Tiara. We stayed in mid June when the hotel was quieter and it was a really pleasant, calm environment to be in with our baby. The other guests were really friendly and obviously having an equally pleasant stay. The pool area is great and the children's pool a nice facility (although a bit too cold for our child until late in the day). The breakfast was high quality and generous serving hours to 10:30am. We had a downstairs room with a double bed and two sinlges and everything was great - water pressure in the shower, air con, comfortable bed and bedding.

We stayed in Room 26 - one of the new rooms - for most of the week and it is excellent (significantly more spacious than the standard rooms.) Lovely location and views. Pool area very nice. Buffet breakfast could be improved to introduce more variety and to ensure food items are sufficiently available throughout service.

Gem of a place! Peaceful, calm and relaxing. We only stayed for one night on our way to Spain, one night is definitely not enough...... This will go on our list of places to return to. Loved it!

Simple, clean and comfortable. Peaceful setting in the hills close to Tavira. Friendly staff, good facilities and a great base to explore the Algarve

Staff are friendly and helpful. The property is well appointed, and the room is bright and well furnished. The restaurant offers good food and the buffet breakfast is wonderful. The hotel is in a farm and there are walks around the farm. The setting is tranquil and relaxing.
