Fletcher Landhotel Bosrijk Roermond

The location is outstanding. The breakfast service was good (excellent coffee and beverages in general). The room was cosy, but without air conditioning. On the warmest night of 2022... The bathroom facilities were excellent.

The lack of air conditioning in the room. While it's no fault of the hotel, I was surprised that the petrol station and border kiosk only open at 10.

Besides being old and dated the rooms are not clean and smell bad. Our non-smoking room had clearly been smoked in for an extensive period in the past. There were burned in spots in the bathroom sync. The accessories for tissues and soap are rusted and broken. After opening the windows to let in some fresh air we were woken at 4:30 by employees arriving and later bottles and trash being thrown in a dumpster in the courtyard. We asked for another room for the second night and while that at least did not smell of cigarettes it was only marginally better. The bed linen is synthetic and the rooms like airconditioning. All in all we barely slept during our two night visit. Positive notes for the evening meals in the restaurant and the location.

Stayed in this hotel last weekend and was not impressed!, horrid smell in the corridors, moved beds apart and the carpet was filthy and had old food laying on it, black mould in shower, broken handles on drawers with exposed screws, ants in the dining room, very few staff, one man was doing the reception, bar and waiting on tables in the evening, the best thing was the food but limited choice at breakfast, pillows too soft and square, gave me a headache!, another group of my friends had to share an attic room with four of them sleeping in it, no heating and dirty, they complained and got the drinks tab removed from the bill as compensation, the whole place needs work in every department!, i felt sorry for the staff as they were doing their best and stayed courteous at all times, i certainly wno't go back unless things greatly improve!

This hotel supposed to be renovated long time ago Rooms are smelly and dirty, in my opinion for 50€ per night is still to expensive, problem to fall asleep, I was really disappointed Breakfast was ok !

Booked this hotel through a very cheap coupon deal, probably why we got banished to a dirty tiny attic room. Nasty spots on ceiling and walls, (pubic) hair and dead moths in the chalk stained bathroom, small beetles hidden in the curtains, stained carpets, spare pillow flocked in pieces on the floor when taking out of its bag, we left our room 5 minutes late and reception desk was already warning us. Really shocking that this hotel has a 4* rating... Everyone, avoid ! Border 'hotel', located next to the highway; 10 minute drive to Roermond Designer Outlet and 45 minutes to Dusseldorf city center. McDonalds, Burger King, KFC close by, unless you fancy a snack at the truck stop or gas station. It is right at your doorstep anyway. But on the upside, we had plenty of free parking :)

Close to Roermond city, if you fancy some outlet shopping, 10 minutes away. Bit dated (old golden tulip brand hotel) vintage rooms with vintage clock radios.. :-) but clean hotel, nice honest food restaurant, friendly restaurant staff. breakfast was Ok. good stopover hotel.

The room was average, but ok. Bathroom was outdated. The restaurant staff is very polite and helpful. Beware of reception personal, they can be rude, especially an old (40-45) blond lady. You don't get an answer but she tells you how good she is. We paid in advance for dinner included an when we left the dinner was again on the bill. No excuse, they have to update their administration or reception personal.
