Nice small place to stay and enjoy the beautiful area, a great view from the room, homie sensation and very clean, I would recommend it!

Convenient to the old castles. Good dining options. Off the Main Street. Parking available.

Great local hotel within walking distance to Hohen-Schwangau.

I came to visit Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau with my mother and stepfather and everything was perfect. The location - small Bavarian village out in the country, the hotel was comfortable with friendly service. It was close enough to the castles when taking the bus. Easy to organise as well as the tickets for the castles. Thoroughly recommend it.

Great hotel. Website says desk is open from 8am-6pm. Actually closed from noon-3pm.

Hotel does not have a lift, so a caution for travellers (especially older ones) with luggages! Good point is there is free parking. Do note that if you stay 2 days or more, you are entitled to free travel on the buses. I would have rated the service at the reception as EXCELLENT if the hotel had given the free bus card upon checking in since they knew that we were staying for 2 days. This would not have caused much unpleasantness between the reception and the guests!!

The hotel is similar like B&B not a real hotel type. My room is on 2nd floor with double door. The first door need to be open and closed with key. This is quite interesting and dangerous. We check in about 7 pm and the check in process is not welcoming. Room condition quite clean but facilities are old. Bath tub is deep and may not suit for elderly. Poor lighting but internet is stable. The hotel is located in back street of the main road, good thing is quiet but bad side is not easy to find. Must use GPS. Breakfast is good and well served.

Water would stop at times. Drain would back up. TV did not work. No towels were left the second day.

I loved this hotel and will stay there again the next time in in the area.
