Beds were really comfortable and clean. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk in the rooms as well more on the landings if you needed. More than 1 toilet roll and more on the landing again so you don't have to ask if more is required. The room was a brilliant size and we could take the dog. The staff and locals were really friendly and we didn't hear any noise from the pub at all even with the 3 sky windows open. The windows had blinds in them which helped keeping the sun out as it was really hot. We had food in our room on the first night and that was lovely and the drinks were reasonably priced. Overall we enjoyed our stay if the toilet and shower were OK then all would have been fine but given it was bank holiday it was probably hard to find someone at short notice.

The toilet leaked and kept refilling - I informed them Sunday evening and it was 'fixed' Tueday but in fairness it was late when I told them and I said don't call someone out we can take the lid off and stop it. I did think it would fixed Monday but it was bank holiday and maybe they couldn't get anyone at short notice. It was fixed Tuesday but then it needed more flushes and reading other reviews a couple mentioned the toilet in 2025 so a bit disappointed to see the problem again in May 26 (it wasn't a new toilet). The shower was loose (another review in 23) but at this point I didn't bother telling them as it was bank holiday. The room could do with a dusting in the beams which would make a hugh difference as people had wrote and drew on it.

Customer wear rude a lady with a sausage dog as soon as I came in to the pub to go to my room she got up from her table that was in front and she bloody hell you ok why open the door like that ffs I don't know what she was talking about but I felt really u eased with her tone and my daughter was a bit scared staff never said anything to her just stood behind the bar

Staff never said anything to her or ask me if I was ok because she saw that because she was standing behind 30 bar and when we got there we had to wait for a half hour before she checked us in because she was serving behind 2 bars and wasn't very helpful
