"Great Riad with amazing host!"

10.0

We had a very comfortable stay at Riad Slawi. Adam took care of us and offered us his help in every way: restaurants in the neigbourhood, sightseeing etc. The room was very comfortable and the brerakfast typical and of best standard.

"Great host, beautiful decor"

10.0

This riad is gorgeous. We loved the decor, it's very clean and modern with just the right touches of Moroccan design. The rooms were just perfect, the bathrooms clean and beautiful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others. It was comfortable and cozy yet also felt very modern.

"Lovely Riad"

10.0

I really can't be bothered to go into detail - check TripAdvisor for in-depth stuff, but basically: I really liked this place and the people who run it. A great stay, and very quiet to say you're in the heart of the medina.

"Impeccable Service"

10.0

Adam was the perfect host going beyond what is expected. Going out of his way to get train tickets and a room near the train station. Something he didnt have to do, really The riad is beautiful, the rooms were cleaned everyday. Breakfast was delicious and plenty. Highly recommended.

"A delightful calm retreat"

10.0

Adam who runs this Riad will do everything to look after you. A Moroccan raised in Canada, he is the perfect bridge between the cultures. When you get to Ben Silmane (the district of the Riad) either by bus or taxi, have some pocket change to hand and ask a young lad to show you to "Mr Adams Riad" - they all know him and you won't find it without assistance - alternatively speak to Adam before you arrive and he'll help you. The Riad itself is delightful, calm, clean, traditional layout around a courtyard and traditionally decorated. Its lovely. Breakfast changed everyday, a Moroccan variation of continental breakfast and was more than i could eat. Oh and expect to get lost every time you try to walk back to the Riad from the Soukhs - its part of the fun but easily avoided if you get a taxi back to Ben Silmane,

"Magnificant oasis of calm"

10.0

Riad Slawi is the perfect place to stay when visiting the manic city of Marrakech. It is Located very close to a number of souks, as well as the city's infamous main square - about 15 minutes' walk. This proximity, along with the riad's stunning decor and excellent service, means that there is always a safe haven close by, whenever you need a break from all of the inevitable hussle and bussle. The rooms are cleanes every day, and the riad's communal areas (courtyard and terrace) where prisine too. The food (breakfast included, with optional three-course dinner options) is absolutely first-class. The riad's management is amazing as well, always willing to offer tips, and very helpful when it comes to navigating the tricky medinas. Basically, if you're going to Marrakech, it's a crime not to consider Riad Slawi!

"A Quiet Oasis away from the mayhem of Marrekesh"

10.0

Nothing was too much for Adam the owner of the Riad Slawi. Adam rang us before we left on the plane, and sent us an email with his phone number, so that we could ring him when we landed and then got to the main sq, where he would meet us, which he did, and took us in our hire car to a well protected carpark, and then from then on he helped us with our bags as we walked the last 5-10 mins to the Riad - a door in an alleyway. BUT inside it was lovely, Quiet and exotic decorations in the Morrocan Bedion style - lovely decor, all done up by Adam+ family in 2008. Got upgraded when we got there and had a really big bedroom with a fridge, and an extra couch/ bed, and a huge bathroom with fabulously big shower/bath + toilet and really big sink. All the bedrooms are based around a central square, which is covered - in case( rarely) it rains, and have lovely furnishings a bathrobe is provided for your use, in the fridge there is water and juices for your use for a v small price. We had mint tea on arrival, and In the morning the huge breakfast were served in the beautiful square which had a central sm square with a bowl full of water with rose petals in it. We had a lovely evening meal here, started with a huge salad, chicken with all spices and onions etc, and I had a stuffed fish with rice and spices etc, and a lovely desert - yummy, which we had arranged beforehand with Adam. We went up on the roof + in the summer, it is laid out with tables and a mini garden. We paid by Euros.
