The Norwich Inn

Our room with gas fireplace was clean and so cozy. The staff was very welcoming and we enjoyed a nice dinner at the restaurant. We stayed because we were taking a class at the King Arthur Baking School, less than 1 mile away. We will definitely be back!

The only reason I say that the comfort was poor is because there was some piece of the building that was loose and when the wind blew it banged against the side of the building super loudly and it woke us up all throughout the night. We were both exhausted and really needed a good night sleep, and we barely slept a wink. When we told the front desk she apologized but didn't offer any kind of compensation. Love the rooms, service, pub, beer, etc., I just wish the front desk lady on Sunday offered us some form of a credit or compensation. We didn't want to ask for anything, just let them know that they should let their maintenance person know to take a look at the building around the exterior of room 37. Everything else was great though.

Our room was extremely cold the entire time we were there. On the last day, we discovered that all three of the windows in the room were unlatched and cracked open.

It would have been a plus to have breakfast included.
