The Norwich Inn

Amazing and beautiful property to stay at. Highly recommend. Would definitely stay again! Staff is friendly and bonus coffee and water was great!

Wonderful experience.

The person at the desk was very friendly and helpful and knowledgeable about places to visit in Hanover. Breakfast was delicious, and we didn't feel at all rushed. We and our friends came from two different directions to meet in Norwich. It was the perfect place for that. We spent a lot of time in the living room catching up.

This is a beautiful Inn, very historic. There are plenty of places on the main floor to meet friends, enjoy a drink or the fire. I visited starting on Christmas, leaving 12/29/24, a period that had many parties, receptions, revelers, etc.

My room 30 was located directly above the social spaces and at the top of the stairs. So, the level of noise was too much for me at times. If you are sensitive to noise, requesting a room not on the floor above the social rooms, or requesting a room in the detached part of the inn might be best. Additionally, the original part of the inn is a bit old so creak;y floors and smaller bathrooms are part of the deal.

We enjoyed the comfy bed and attractive room in the Ivy Building. The continental breakfast was very good. We will be back!

My goodness! We couldn't have been treated any better at this property. The staff was wonderful and made us feel like VIPs every step of the way, from our questions about different rooms prior to booking, through our early check-in, all the way to our follow up message after check out. I would wholeheartedly recommend this Inn.
