Hotel do Cerro

The hotel was excellent. Really great sea view from the balcony and excellent breakfast, they even provided gluten free bread!

My Husband and I stayed in this hotel for a long weekend on March and had a lovely time. The hotel is up quite a steep hill (which has steps) which leads pretty much to the beach. It is 10 minutes walk from the old town and lots of the restaurants etc had great local reviews. Breakfast was a mixture of continental and cooked so there was lots of choice. My only small critique would be the juice wasn't fresh, it was cordial and very sweet. But lots of choice of coffee/teas etc as alternatives. We chose to pay a bit more for a lovely sea view room with a queens size bed and were very impressed with the room and the view. Well worth the extra money we paid over the 3 nights we stayed. We had a very late flight on the Friday and didn't arrive until 11pm but they have 24hour check in and free parking so this wasn't a problem. Check out isn't until midday which was nice not to have to rush when we left. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Some of the decor is quite dated in the main lobby and corridors etc, but the rooms are nicely furnished and great value for money This hotel also has an indoor pool and spa facility which was an added bonus and an outdoor pool and cafe which was open during most of the day. Both of these we took advantage of during our stay.

We had an excellent stay here. The staff were friendly, the rooms were pleasant and the hotel a decent distance from the main town. It was winter during our visit, so there was a bit of a chill in the room, but not bad at all. Breakfast was a buffet, and they provided a really good spread.

Location was nice-close to the Piscador Beach just 300 m downstairs.Nice view from the balcony.We were in November so Bar which is in hotel was very quiet at this time that I can't say in summer time. Room is big but hotel itself is old fashion but cozy.

Bit of a walk with two elevators, but the hotel is nicely located and the Ocean View rooms are lovely.

Third time at this hotel and as ever staff freindly and helpful.

The hotel offers a gym but you must book your time in advance and pay 8€ per day. Fridge is available at a cost of 4€ per day. No ice machine in the hotel - when I asked for ice my answer was we do not give ice we sell ice. Location was great but will not return to this hotel

The hotel was very nice, in a decent location. I thought it was a bit of a joke that you had to pay to use the gym or indoor pool and spa 5 euros per time.

The room was clean but had trouble with air condition. There were no varieties at the buffet breakfast especially for people with gluten free allergy and milk intolerant . Access to pool with good but not easy to go to the beach. I will definitely not pay another visit there.

I was passing through Albufeira on my way to Lisbon and decided to try this place. It's a bit from the main highway but offers a great view of Portugal's beaches and has the perks that make or break my stay - good wifi, free, ample parking, a decent restaurant, clean, comfortable rooms, and a helpful staff. I happened to stop by on a karaoke night and the bar was a blast all night. I booked a room during the off-season and got the place for a steal. I have no complaints and would definitely visit again.
