Great Hotel, value for money

We have used the Dandy before and we continue to like it for the location, very nice rooms and value. It is located in a traffic restricted street so it helps to know your way around the area. There is an underground car park just down the street and the main shopping area is just meters away. The only real downside is that some vagrants tend to hang around the square but they seem pretty harmless.

Came here for one night to escape the busy city of Paris. It was a perfect weekend getaway

A pleasant hotel, with elegant decor and excellent room service. Only one criticism: breakfast at 12 euros was rather ordinary and some items were not always available. Otherwise - highly recommendable.

The hotel is in a great location close the the sight of the martydom of joan of arc. The Church is at the bottomof the block from the hotel.

Wonderful hotel in a fairly difficult place to find. Use your GPS and worth the effort. Clean, well run by a very professional gentleman. Public parking close by the Joan of Arc church. We would stay that this hotel again.

It was great to find a locally owned, non-chain hotel. The staff was very helpful, in French and English. I liked that the room was furnished with antiques and not pre-fab matching junk out of some corporate catalogue. It felt like a real place, a part of Rouen. The room was very clean, the view nice, and the location convenient: 5 minutes to the old market square, 10 or 15 to the Cathedral. Minor drawback: the shower hose wouldn't stay on the wall and the toilet didn't flush very well.

The main problem with this lovely hotel is it's location. While it is very close to all the tourist attractions, it is located above a lot of local bars. It is very, very noisy at night especially since you need to keep the windows open during the summer to keep the room cool at night. The staff is wonderful, the hotel is ideal, the location would be nice if it were not on this street.
