GBLovely small hotel - very tidy, modern, clean. Comfortable beds. Prettily decorated rooms. Good seaside feel. Our children had an adjoining room with kitchenette. The Il de Re is fun for cycling and we explored about half the island by bike on our first day. The staff were helpful in finding restaurants for supper, especially as it was a busy season and everywhere was quite full. We accidentally chose to have supper by the port in St Martin de Re on the same night that islanders and holiday makers flocked there for late night fireworks, so that was an added bonus!
We paid over £300 per room per night, and on top of that were landed with charge after charge from the hotel. It was extra to have breakfast, park the car, use the little on site sauna, and borrow the hotel's own bikes. Compared with the place we stayed with after this in the Loire Valley where generosity was everywhere including small but important things like free large bottles of water we did feel rather fed up and sadly it coloured our experience of the stay overall.

Tea, coffee and water should be free. Unclear about jacuzzi, sauna facilities. Again, should not be charged extra for this. Should consider adult only pool time. Lots of children.

JEGBWonderful little Hotel in beautiful setting at the end of the village just a stroll through some vineyards to get onto a beach great for looking for crabs and seashells. For swimming we drove 10mins up the coast to the bigger sand beaches. Room was well laid out and the children enjoyed they own space in the mezzanine level and a little pool time. Nice staff, nice breakfast.
All the little extras which feel quite expensive (parking, Breakfast) especially considering it is not cheap in the first place. Would suggest to include this in the rates. You are also quite a walk from any shop or restaurant but we were surprised by a well kitted out mini Kitchenette which was very useful to have.
