XX Miglia

War kurz , nur eine Nacht. Wir flogen am nächsten morgen früh wieder nach Hause. Vom B+B wurde uns ein Flughafentaxi für 20 Euro organisiert. Hat prima geklappt.

It was a lovely room with a beautiful ceiling and the owners were really helpful. Breakfast was nice. The only downside was the location, handy for the centre but we could watch people being picked up for money outside our window which didn't make for the best atmosphere

Le personnel de l'hôtel est très serviable et accueillant. Toujours présent, il répond volontiers à toutes les questions des voyageurs. Les chambres sont magnifiques et très bien tenues, d'une propreté irréprochable. Situé au centre ville, il est très facile d'en partir pour faire des visites. Je recommande vivement cet établissement!!

La ducha estaba estropeada y las paredes son de papel, pero el hotel está muy bien!

Camera molto bella in uno stabile piuttosto vecchio ma in posizione comoda per visitare il centro di Catania a piedi. Personale cordiale ma poco propenso a rilasciare fattura.

Séjour mi-juillet 2016. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Cristian qui nous a donné une carte de la ville avec les points d'intérêt. Nous aurions souhaité une chambre de style classique mais nous avons eu la moderne (ce n'est pas grave) au dernier étage (sans ascenseur mais Cristian nous a porté notre sac!). La chambre (celle du fond à gauche) est grande, le lit est confortable. La salle de bain (avec baignoire) aurait pu être un peu mieux nettoyée. Dans la chambre, il y avait de quoi se faire du thé et du café. Là où nous avons logé (tout en haut), il y a une petite terrasse commune, ça peut être sympa le soir. Le petit point noir de ce B&B est l'emplacement la nuit (la rue perpendiculaire, via Giovanni di Prima, est celle des prostituées le soir; nous l'avons traversée, mais nous n'avons pas eu de problème). Le petit déjeuner se prend un peu plus bas dans le bâtiment. Très bien! Buffet avec un peu de tout, du sucré, du salé.

Great room in a not very good part of town. You must go through a gate up a few flights of steps in a very old and terrible looking building to find the entrance to this hotel. Even though it looked scary the people in the building helped us find the entrance to the hotel. When we went into the hotel entrance, the hotel was all renovated. We had a great room and the best bathroom on our journey so far. I only gave this a 4 because of the location. We walked the town during the day and stayed in that night.

Das Zimmer war schön, sauber und ausreichend gross. Das Haus von außen, das Treppenhaus und der Ausblick von unserem kleinen Balkon allerdings erschreckend. Aber das Frühstück, welches jeden morgen frisch von Christiano zubereitet wurde, war super. Außerdem ist das Hostel zentral gelegen, so dass man schnell die schönen Plätze von Catania erreichen kann.

The hotel and hosts were wonderful. Breakfast was great and our room was spacious, clean and had a beautifully decorated ceiling. The neighbourhood isn't the best though.

hotel in bit of run down area on busy road - but step through door into oasis of peace and calm. Stunning rooms, great helpful hosts - good english. You are close to everything such as it is. Daily fruit market and delicatesen opposite. This really is a great place to stay. Only niggle - pillows could do with an upgrade. Don't miss the huge market which is just round the corner.
