great B&B. Rooms and bathrooms are very modern and clean. Mattress was best we found in Italy. If you can handle the stairs, it is definitely worth the climb. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast room is beautiful.

Could not fault host who contacted us to arrange pick up from airport. Loved the decor - very different! Excellent breakfast and additional facilities to hand during the day for coffee/beer etc. Big room with en-suite. Very clean.

Its a beautiful B&B, very clean, well maintained, nice staff , nice and cheap breakfast.

Hotel was nearly impossible to find. It was a closed gate that led to a shabby decrepit courtyard. Then there was another door that led to a smelly staircase. On the third floor was the hotel. The inside was clean and the room we had was clean and comfortable with elegant decorative ceilings and an updated bathroom. We had to catch the plane early in the morning so we did not try their breakfast. The manager seemed nice and informative, and helped us find a good cheap parking space close to the hotel.

What a good time...in really bad winter weather. The owners were more than helpful, and very considerate. And breakfast! Lovely! As long as stairs are not a problem, you'll love the place and the owners.....

The hosts of this place were the highlight for sure. So warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough go us. They packed us a breakfast and left it in our room with a note before our early morning departure! The room was comfortable and clean- great bed, pillows, heat, little balcony. The only downside is that you need to walk up 5 flights of shady stairs to reach the B&B. At night there were no lights and we used our cell phones. Once you get there it's good. Adequate breakfast and good location by the train station. Would stay here again.

Centrally located, newly decorated rooms, extremely clean and very pleasant and accommodating hosts. All breakfast items are home made every morning by the hosts. The only drawback was the outside look of the building - old and not in the best shape. The rooms inside are amazing - high ceilings all painted (house used to belong to a baron). All in all very good value for money.

Our room looked down on a narrow street where the daily dramas of Italian city life played out below. Our room was modern, clean and functional, the bathroom excellent. The two men who run this hotel could not do enough to help us. They were friendly, informative & funny! It's a pity there are no lifts - the 50 stairs are hard going with suitcases!

The location is great, right across from the train station and bus to airport. Metro close by. The kitchen was always open so one could make tea or have a snack all of which were gratis. The owner provided good information for getting around to sights. So-sos. Room very small for a couple. Bed was pretty hard but everything spotless in room and bedding was crisp. We asked for a quiet room and were provided with a very quiet room. Good place to spend a couple nights (we were there for two nights) in Rome.
