ARTHOTEL Haar

We love to come back to this jewel. A very hip, funky, chill - out , and yet, classy, well organized, and what is important - very customer orientated. We love its relaxed atmosphere, unique style, food , movies, and one little thing that always delights us: welcome (and y the name inserted) on the TV screen when you enter. So cool. We travel a lot, and to see this anti-inflammatory boring place (the around airport Hotel usualy are) is something refreshing! Recommend!

It was OK. A cosy little room with a small bathroom. Felt a little cold at night (in early December) as heating was not good enough.

The hotel is not new, but was quite comfortable. Staff was fine. What I didn't like was smoking on the hall - the floors are quite small and every morning and for most of the day there was smell of cigarettes even when they say it is none smoking.. also romm had strange odor. In overall hey stay wasn't bad, but I would go there again. Maybe during the summer, because there are two huge swimming pools, but that is not benefit during the winter..

Excellent hotel with most helpful, friendly staff. Pool area does get loud during the summer, but that reminds me to get out of the room since it is nice out. I love being able to use the pool area. Room is warm but that is expected, especially since it was 30 deg C (85 F) the whole time when I was there, so that was very fortunate.. There is a supermarket right next door across the street with beer, food, and drinks and everything needed. Train station is a 15 minute walk, and the town center is a 10 minute walk. Whenever I go to Munich, I do not stay anywhere else.

I did not even complete this booking. In the hotel description it lists the property as having two pools "in the hotel" - the pool is actually behind the hotel hotel, off site. They do give you a free pass to go, however, it is a public pool that was very crowded and filled with children. Which is absolutely not okay when your decision was made on either a hotel with a pool (because you thought you'd relax) versus a hotel with A/C. Obviously, armed with false information I made the wrong choice. Also the fitness area listed was closed for renovation or so I was told - which was another deciding factor.

We stayed here on our trip to Austria so for only 1 night. The hotel was more than decent, the rooms were clean and nice size - also the bathroom. Everywhere in the hotel there is art - very pretty! We dind´t order breakfast because we wanted to leave erarly the next morning.

This hotel is in Germany and has different standards. The staff are great and always helpful. Breakfast is continental but they also cater for British visitors. No kettle or clock radio but TV and fridge in the room. The hotel has its own swimming pool and is close to transport links into Munich. There is a local shop close by for the odds and sods you might need. The local Gasthause is great for food and drink. Lovely place to stay. Great service, great rooms and well worth a visit.
