Close to train station. Helpful staff. Nice accomodation

this hotel is nice and quit lacation neer Munchen. Hotel is clean and rooms are also nice. Slow wifi. Bonus is swimmig pool next door the hotel , free enter for hotel guests. But management Marjana is on a real bad comunication with me. I need to leave one day beafore and hoel did not give me moneay back. I ask Marjana to call the owner but she did not do it and dicided herself. This I can not accept. That is not nice I spent in the hotel 2 night and have to pay 3 nights. At that moment it was expnsive.

Nice place to stay and spend a couple of nights

We stayed at the hotel in June 2013. We did not realise that the hotel was in a residential suburb. None the less, it was fantastic. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were small, but done the job. The outside area was very nice, adjacent to the public pool which was accessible from the hotel. The breakfast was very nice. I would recommend the hotel.

We picked Haar because it was close to Munich. We ended up using the free parking and taking the train into Munich. The train station is about 1km walk from the hotel. 6.4€ for a day ticket allowed us to use the S-Bahn and U-Bahn all day.

We stayed here when we visited Munich as we were driving and needed parking and weren't too worried about travelling into Munich via train. The hotel is around 15 minutes work from the S-Bahn and the train takes 20-30 minutes to get into Munich. The reception staff were extremely helpful, very thorough on check-in and more than happy to make recommendations for a restaurant (the hotel does do food but only light snacks). They also provided really helpful instructions how to get to the station, the best type of rail ticket to get and where the nearest cash machines were. The room was beautiful and clean and felt newly refurbished. There is free wifi which requires a username and password, which is given to you on checkin. The hotel has gym, sauna and swimming facilities although we didn't use them. Would definitely recommend.

The bathroom is extremely small. The lactation is little far from Munich city but it is 10min walking to train station. The staff is very nice.

We stayed for two nights whilst going to Oktoberfest. The hotel was further out than expected, it took longer than the 12 mins Google estimated from the S Bahn in Haar. Haar itself is a nice little village with good bakeries - I'd suggest going there rather than the Hotel breakfast at €8.50/each - we got breakfast and drink from three people for €8 at one of them. The Hotel wasn't as flash as I expected from the photos. It looked very 'high end' but it wasn't as it looked on arrival. It was still pleasent but not to the standard I was expecting. The triple room we had wasn't a real triple. It was a double with a sofa converted into a bed which was uncomfortable for my friend. A portable bed would've been better. You could even fit a proper single bed in. The door handle kept coming off the bathroom door (room 215), and the WiFi on this floor stopped working. As it was working fine downstairs, staff refused to do anything about it. At €308 for two nights, this was overpriced given the quality of the beds and internet - but with Oktoberfest in town, I guess its to be expected. Wouldn't ruah back, but if cheaper I might!

Wifi is terrible, super hot in the room. No fan and no aircon
