"Family run hotel, but with dated room"

Good location with good view as it is high up. To get to Lenno for the boats take 10 minutes drive, or you can walk in town from the hotel in a pleasant walk in 20 minutes. The family room is very dated but clean.

Very pleasant welcome. Ate in the evening and had a great meal. All in all good. A little out of town and had to ask a local where it was, but fine then.

"Excellent Value with Superior Service"

Excellent overall experience. The only downside is that this is a European 3-Star facility. For Americans unaware this means no A/C. But the staff was amazing. The food was excellent. And to our most pleasant surprise the room was so well insulated that we didn't miss out on the air conditioning--even though we stayed there mid-July with 85 degree temperatures. We will stay there again next time we visit Lake Como.

"Hotel Garzola Lake Como"

Small and very friendly, owner speaks English and very helpful and gives advice on local places to visit. Superb views and well away from busy lakeside road, need a car unless you don't mind a long uphill walk
