Casa Del Sol Motel

The property location was right next to the boardwalk and the beach which was great. The room was clean and ok for the two day stay. The only problem we had was the remote didn't work and channels were very limited.

The hotel was dirty, the pool full of hair, the rooms smelly, old, not clean, they charged us $439 dollars for one night. This place is disgusting!

Had to call a phone number to check in because no one was in the closet size office that was locked. The room smelled musty and moldy. The floors were wet and sandy. The bathroom smelled of urine and mold. The bed was old and uncomfortable.

I became sick and and got tested and was positive with covid after only being on the property for 3 hours and the owner wouldn't check me out and wont refund anything I lost $421 and hotel.com just said its nothing that could be done.

There was a sgin to wear a mask in the office but the employee did not have one on. In the room, the drawers were broken so we couldn't unpack and the tv was broken, when we told the employee he acted like we were bugging him and blow us off he never came to look at it or send someone else to.

This was our first time staying at Casa Del Sol and we couldn't be happier! The location is perfect! We walked out our door and onto the boardwalk. It's right at the ramp to Mack's Pizza and The Fudge Factory. The pool is on the second level overlooking Ocean Ave and there is also a large sitting area. Parking was great and the staff is wonderful. They exceeded our every need and were super friendly. Our room was clean and spacious and quiet. We will definitely be staying here in the future.

This was my 1st time staying at this property. I have stayed at multiple others in the area over the years. My friend and I stayed in the basic room w 2 beds. It was completely adequate for what we needed. 2 beds, dresser, bathroom, mini fridge, microwave and small single serve coffee maker. We brought a toaster as those rooms do not provide one. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. The property is smaller so there wasnt the large groups of people that the larger motels have. We were able to sit comfortably by the pool every day w plenty of loungers available. The property is steps from the boardwalk and beach which is super convenient. Based on location, accommodations and price, we would definitely stay at this property again.
