Enjoy Dead Sea Hotel -Formerly Daniel

Not great

The hotel was good and the service was good as well. However THE FOOD IS TERRIBLE!! We stayed for 3 days at half board (breakfast and dinner). The buffets of food offered a lot of food but extremely low quality (poor taste, poor selection, not fresh, etc.). The hotel should urgently replace the head Chef. Our friends stayed at Herod's down the road and they told us about the amazing food that they had at Herod's. We were so jealous. Daniel food is NOT GOOD!

This newly "renovated" hotel is disgusting. The food was horrible. For both diner and breakfast, a wide variety of junk was served. You can actually taste the hate the cooks feel towards the guests. The chair and sofa in the room were too dirty to even put clothes on them. On the positive side of things, the pool was very nice and the staff was friendly. To summarize, this is an hotel for people with very low standards...

first rate hotel, great food. courteous service. crossing to beach takes a little effort.

Location was great. Rooms were comfortable. staff was very accommadating. However..the cleanliness has to improve. For instance..the grill for the omlettes was extremely dirty and everything around and on top the top shelf was extremely greasy.

Inside heated dead sea water pool was great.. Staff was friendly.. Comfortable room with nice view but a bit old furniture.. Breakfast was good..

Let's start with the easy stuff: food was ok, not exquisite but more than acceptable, different cuisines every day, all-day cold water available in the lobby (no charge) The rest of our experience was actually disappointing. For starters, the hotel is not well maintaned. It's old, some of the electric sockets in the room were half out which is extremely dangerous, the bath starr was old and the corridor carpets were old and somewhat dirty. They say 'private beach', but pay close attention: YOU HAVE TO CROSS THE RODE IN ORDER TO GET THERE, and once you get there there aren't any seats/chairs where you can lay you things.The pool was ok, too small for the crowd. In conclusion, for the price i payed, i expected much better. Unfortunately i won't be staying there next time.

Not enough was done to comply with coronavirus guidelines.

Some amenities are always missing!! Due to COVID, SPA was not available, what a pity!! But if so, maybe they should give us some kind of refund/discount.... Structure and location is great, room and bathroom are quite small compare to the price and category of the hotel.... Pool is nice.
