All Nations Brisbane - Hostel

You can expect a youth hostel in the middle of the city to be noisy, but nothing prepared me for the loud buzzing noise in my (private) room, which came from the bathroom ventilator. Earplugs were useless for this kind of noise. Even though I paid in advance for 2 nights, I got out of this hostel at 6.30 AM to get away from the buzz. They don't refund and the staff was apologetic, I got the feeling she heard that complaint before. Anyway, it's probably fine if you're drunk or not so sensitive to this kind of thing. If you are sensitive, ask for a room as far away from the bathrooms as possible. Cheers.

broken toilets. noisy area. mouldy smell. poor shower facilities. wouldn't recommend to anyone unless it is a last resort or sleep on the street situation. staff were friendly.

I liked the single room. No storage, but for the price, it's OK.

Very central location, ideal with pub next door with good value food. 7 up convenience just around corner, train station across road. Perfect easy to get about place to stay & good pricing too.

Friendly informative cleaner. Rooms on the 4th floor was great. Shower & toilets were clean. Spacious kitchen but could do with more fridge space.

I found bed bugs in this hostel... So many hippies

perfect central location, very big hostel, sometimes long waiting time at reception as many people check-in/out. Noise level was a problem, very loud music and bass coming from the bar in the cellar. Despite my room being on the 4th floor, my walls were shaking and the music could still be heard, even at 3.00 am! Wifi only in reception area, not in the rooms.
