The Devil's Punchbowl Hotel

To be honest it has had a tremendous improvement from a visit i did 18 month ago this property has improved and I believe it is still improving

The improvement it has been since last visit staff are friendly

The breakfast was good ..staff friendly

The hotel was very smelly..stains in the carpets ...staying for a wedding nearby so couldn't change last minute as would have. Very disappointed

Friendly and helpful staff. Staff were considerate and accommodated the dietary needs of members of my family group. On checking in late evening they managed to link my two separate bookings so I didn’t have to move rooms. There was a convector heater in the room which I did need.

I had to ask for a hair drier, there wasn’t one in the room. The breakfast was good but no breakfast buffet. The menu didn’t list fruit / fruit juice / cereals / yoghurt. I did get fruit juice so was happy. No marmalade but there was jam.

Hotel is dated shabby and not particularly clean. Areas on route to our room smelled awful. Did the job and not many other options in the area.

Very grubby and dusty. Windows in dire need of a clean. Mattress had uncomfortable springs and was sagging. No mattress protector. Flat pillows.

The gentleman on the front desk was very polite and explained everything at check in perfectly, plenty of free parking, large rooms, clean and tidy. Super close to Marchants Hill pgl site where was son was staying.

The guttering was blocked above the window in my room and during the overnight rain I experienced, the sound of the rain was quite loud.

it was dirty there was handprints on the wall. There was dust and stains in the carpet of the room. The bathroom was extremely dirty and the shower was poor. I have never stayed in a hotel this dirty before. The floor made noises everytime you stood on it. There was cobwebs on the ceilings.
