DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Leeds City Centre

We stayed in this location as a last minute mini break ... Great location next to the lock , plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and an Ideal location next to the train station .

Our first stay with the Doubletree brand and a very impressive one it was too. From arrival to departure, the quality of the communal areas, rooms and service was apparent. We were intending to drop our cases before the allocated check-in time but were informed our room was ready and were happy to leave reception with our key and a cookie each! The rooms are well designed and everything is well thought out, including iron and board stowed in the lit wardrobe alongside a safe, should it be needed. The bed is super comfy without being too soft and the bathroom is spotlessly clean with a simple, efficient shower. All room amenities are present, including a fridge with 2 bottles of cold water ready for us. Our breakfast was very good. In fact, the service we received was about the best we have encountered at any hotel, ever. Decaff options were arranged from the bar by our 'section service assistant' as was a bespoke breakfast for one of our party with GF requirements. Top marks all round and the food was excellent too. It's easy to get carried away with reviews and recency bias is always present when writing these things but our stay at Doubletree Granary Wharf was very, very good. The hotel is flawless and the staff deserve a huge mention because they are clearly operating at a very high level - well done folks! It is going to be interesting to see if this is what is to be expected at every Doubletree hotel.

Brilliant hotel. Excellent central location within easy walking distance of the train station, despite it's close proximity to the station it was still very quiet and we got a great night's sleep. Staff were friendly and helpful, we managed check in early with no hassle. The complimentary fresh baked cookie on check in was a nice touch. The corridors and our room were incredibly clean. The bed was super comfortable. The only possible criticism would be the elevators. There are three elevators serving the main lobby, however one of these seemed to be out of order for the duration of our stay, as such the wait times for the other two that were operating was longer than usual. The elevators themselves were also quite small inside. This is a minor inconvenience and I'm sure it will be rectified shortly. We would absolutely stay here again and definitely recommend it!

Excellent hotel and ideally located for visiting Leeds City centre. Room was very clean and comfortable, with surprisingly little noise given the location. All staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was superb. Fully recommend this place.

Excellent stay, the room was beautiful, the hotel is also beautiful, breakfast was amazing, the sky lounge could have been better, the food was excellent but we had bottomless brunch and was waiting ages for drinks when the table next to us who arrived after us where constantly getting served

Great hotel - very high standards

Literally the only downside is there is just a few small lifts serving the hotel which has a high no of floors which means they are busy and take a while…. Other than that it was comfy, convenient and well priced.
