DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Leeds City Centre

We enjoyed a wonderful outdoor dining experience at The Lock at Doubletree Leeds for our son’s graduation. It was our second visit in as many weeks and during both the Food & Beverage Manager, Dimi, took exceptional care of us. Not only were he and his team very attentive at all times but he took great care to run through the food and wine menu with us and make recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble. It’s so nice to be looked after by someone who is so obviously passionate and enthusiastic about his work. We will be back!

Property is excellent, but the staff were really exceptional without being over the top. Genuine good service from friendly people.

The hotel itself was lovely. Lovely room, lovely breakfast lovely staff. The issue was the parking - i was told id get a reduced rate at the car park and when i arrived the woman on the parking kiosk had a really really bad attitude so i parked else where after she shouted at us and swore in front of my kids. When i told the hotel what had happened as i was checking in they said 'yeah it happens all the time we always get complaints about her' so instead of getting a reduced rate in the carpark i had to park in the next car park along costing me £40 overnight carpark charges.

First time staying at the Double Tree was very impressed, excellent location from the train station.

Terrible customer service.. mix up in bookings and forced to stay in the city hotel. Wouldn’t even let me keep my car in the car park… been a Hilton customer for years, won’t be any longer!! The “customer service” guy on the desk thought it was funny… !

I booked 2 rooms months in advance. After a 5 hour car journey, we turned up at 11.30pm and were told they had messed up and didn’t have our rooms, they were full. Awful. They put us up in another hotel 10 min drive away so it was 1am by the time we went to bed. If I’d wanted to book the other hotel I would have done so initially. Awful

Another great stay at the DoubleTree, quickly becoming our favourite place to stay in Leeds. Only downside to it this time was that it was a hot weekend and the aircon wasn't very cold even on the coldest setting so it was a bit warm in the room.

A wonderful stay, we felt welcomed from the moment we arrived, staff can’t do enough. The room was spacious and the air conditioning just what we needed for the hottest day in July! Really comfortable bed, slept so well. We had a drink in the bar in the evening (no shorts or flip flops in the Sky Lounge sadly) and had delicious cocktails! Breakfast was amazing, such a selection even for someone like me with a gluten allergy. Will definitely be booking again. Oh and SO close to the station, could see our platform from a window, yet no noise whatsoever. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Centrally located hotel in Leeds, welcome cookies on arrival, plenty of staff, lovely big room with the most enormous bed I have seen! Nothing to complain about at all (apart from the price of parking but that is everywhere in Leeds)

We stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton in Leeds over last weekend... The hotel was brilliant - clean, comfortable and central to the city. The staff were wonderful - in particular a lovely lady called Hajjra working in the Lock restaurant. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable, centrally located base in Leeds.
