DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Leeds City Centre

Brilliant hotel, very comfortable and well appointed room (with Sky Sports!),superb breakfast and the Sky Lounge is great. Only loses a star because unfortunately there was a constant noise from some sort of generator, or perhaps another guest who had their aircon on full blast all night. I was on the 11th floor so perhaps something on the roof, but it kept me up a lot of the night!

Breakfast at The Lock was lovely. Our room was very clean and had a great view of the canal. It really close to many places to eat and just next to the station. This is the second time we have stayed here.

Came for our 30th Anniversary weekend hotels in an Excellent location, lovely bars and restaurants right on doorstep. Parking was full at hotel but sister carpark site was really handy ,opposite the hotel . Well worth the price. We stayed on 8th floor in room looking over the canal , small but okay. Room description said soundproof . This was for windows yes we couldn't hear the trains but the doors from neighbours banged all night. We did ask for a room that was quiet due to husbands health condition but he didn't sleep all night. Breakfast was plentiful, very busy but so much to choose from and coffee on the terrace after was lovely. We did visit the sky bar before our night just to see the sunset so pretty , view are stunning from the rooftop.

Pro’s - Very comfortable beds. - Hotel and rooms were very modern and clean. - Bathroom was pleasant and everything worked well - Staff were friendly and accommodating. - Location was ideal - minutes from the train station and very close to the Slam Dunk Shuttle Bus Pick - up point. - Fridge in the room was a huge bonus. - Decent selection of free Tea and Coffee. - There’s a rooftop bar with views over the city. Cons - The bedroom we had was very compact for 2 people. Although there are upgrades available, these appear to be for double bed options only. If you’re looking for a twin room, you have to stay in a standard room which a little on the cosy side. Stayed here for Slam Dunk Festival and despite the compact room size, you couldn’t ask for a better hotel. Being on top of the train station is a huge bonus and it’s about a 5 minute walk to the shuttle bus pick up point. It’s a shame that they don’t have twin room options in larger rooms, as I’d happily pay a little extra to upgrade, but other than that it’s a solid choice and if theres only one of you per room, then that wont be a problem. Would I stay here again - absolutely. Despite the compact room size, everything else was spot on and it’s a genuinely pleasant hotel.

Stayed here for a few days whilst dealing with a family matter. An excellent hotel a stones throw from the railway station but in a lovely location on the wharf down by the canal with options for food and drinking outside of the hotel without needing to venture far. Despite the location, the room was very quiet. Standard room was good for just myself, although the lack of an actual desk made working not optimal. WiFi easy and excellent throughout. Hotel very clean, service great, restaurant good, breakfast options okay, there was a separate menu to have orders if you didn't just want the buffet. Best bit was the lounge bar up on the top floor with a long balcony overlooking part of the city. I arrived by train so easy but for anyone with a car, parking options are very limited and expensive. The hotel is a just a few minutes walk from the city centre. Overall, a great choice especially if you are needing to be close to the city.

Great overnight stay! Rooms very clean, beds were comfortable and it was very quiet especially for a Friday night! Rooftop bar was also lovely. Only downside was the parking was quite expensive compared to surrounding car parks. However this definitely would not stop us staying here again.

We arrived to check in which we had done online the lady who was very cold said we would have to pay for room no problem! We went up to our room to then realise they had taken twice the money for our room ! Obviously stressed as we dont have a money tree and had a budget for our weekend break we went straight back down to explain the response we got back was disgraceful not a care in the world just said it will go back in your bank when u check out after explaining that they had left us without a big chunk of our money and that wasn't good enough still absolutely nothing from any of the staff never dealt with such uncaring people absolutely horrible people! Ruined our weekend as we had to really watch our money ! On checking out a different lady asked how our stay was we explained to her what had happened she seemed to care a little more than the other staff but it was too late no discount offered not even a complimentary drink ! Unbelievable will never stay here again!! My advise stay somewhere else that values your hard earned money!
