"The best DoubleTree in the UK"

I couldn't say enough positive things about this hotel; from start to finish this place is a masterclass in hospitality. The room was beautiful, spacious and clean, and all common areas and lounges were similarly well appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout, room service prompt, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Breakfast on both days was plentiful and well done. We stay in a lot of Hiltons across Europe, and I'm confident in saying that this is one of the best. Bravo, DoubleTree Leeds; we will be back.

"Great location, great room, not so great service."

The room was nice, very spacious and modern, the bed was very comfortable which is always a bonus, although I did have to report a fault with one of the lights in the bathroom, but it was fixed very quickly by the maintenance team which was great. The amenities looked really good, I didn't get a chance to try them but I did have a brief look. Unfortunately I was disappointed by the service from the staff on the front desk and over the phone, the two staff I spoke to were quite rude in my opinion, and not very welcoming, it was the same when leaving the hotel to check out, very abrupt, nobody asked me how my stay was, just sort of handed them the key and that was it. I think I've honestly had better service at budget hotels like an Ibis or a Premier inn.

"Very poor customer service"

Horrible customer service. I checked in using the Hilton app, but upon entering my room, I discovered that I had been assigned an accessibility room. I went down to the reception to request a change of room, and the Lady I met said I was assigned an accessibility room because I booked the cheapest room on the site [even without looking at my booking or my account]. I explained that it was not the case, and I did not request an accessibility room. Still without looking at my account, she said my company must have booked the cheapest room, which again is a wrong assumption as I booked my ticket myself. Really demeaning and unprofessional. I raised this in the app chat, and it took hours before I got a response with no apologies, and there was no further response to my reply.
