Its location is perfect and the property was clean, every need catered for and the bed was very comfortable.

No faults

This was my first visit to Clacton-on-Sea, and although I checked in very late due to work commitments, Carol and her husband were absolutely outstanding. They made sure I was warmly welcomed, well looked after, and completely comfortable from the moment I arrived. Their kindness, smiles, and genuine hospitality were truly exceptional and unlike anything I had experienced before in the UK. Carol even kindly offered me a complimentary room upgrade, which was an amazing surprise. The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and incredibly comfortable. I will always remember Carol, her warm smile, and the wonderful welcome I received. I will definitely return and would love to stay at the hotel again with my family on my next visit.

Exceptional the chudleigh is extremely comfortable with fantastic staff who go on and above what was expected. The owner is a wonderful lady who really does know her stuff brilliant i highly recommend the chudleigh even if you are a few miles away do go to the chudleigh Breakfast out of this world beautiful

There was nothing I didnt like

Warm welcome, and gentle elegance of the decoration. A wonderful big room and the bed was super comfy. The snack selection was fab and the filtered coffee packets were a nice touch. Breakfast was varied, I loved the fresh fruit and yogurts, and the cooked breakfast was hot and delicious 😋

All was great.
