Perfect hosts. Breakfast was great, lots of variety. Friendly staff. Lovely little treats in the room. Will definitely be returning.

OMG!! What an amazing stay! Fantastic location, lovely host and staff. Wonderful clean room with quality toiletries, bedding and towels. All Teas and Coffees in room were all branded and there was even a chocolate bar and biscuits too! The bed was huge and so comfortable with deep filled pillows for a perfect nights sleep. The breakfast was incredible and cooked to order and the choice of marmalades is unlike I’ve ever seen before. Will 100% be returning - we had a brilliant stay and was barely a minutes walk to the beach and Clacton Pier. Carol the host was warm and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you’re ever in Clacton, you can’t beat The Chudleigh, for location, quality and value.

The property is in an ideal location close to the beach and pier. It was clean and today and very comfortable. All the staff were really lovely and welcoming.

Everything was very tradditional but realy high quality. It is clear that a lot of attention to detail has been employed here form vast experience and a desire to to meet your needs. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Breakfast was top quality. On site parking couldn't have been easier or more convenient.

The water in the sink was luke warm at best to wash in (although to be fair it didn't bother me enough to even mention to the owner or staff). If possible the shower needs upgrading from electric.
