The Chudleigh

Our hosts were understanding and helpful when our rental car got a flat tire from a slow leak. We had to wait a long time for tire specialist to come and replace the tire.

Good hospitality, and breakfast. Rooms although a little dated which adds to the charm was spotless. And plenty good enough. I'd be happy to book again in future

The blinds allow too much light through.

Our stay at the hotel was truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we received a very warm welcome that immediately made us feel at home. The whole place had such a comfortable, friendly atmosphere that created a real “home away from home” feeling. Everything was very clean and well looked after, which we really appreciated. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and a great start to each day. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, always making sure we had everything we needed. We also found the parking very convenient, and the location was perfect for getting around and exploring the area. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we would happily come back again. Highly recommended! 😊

We were very pleased with everything, the warm and welcome greeting by the owner, the spotlessly clean room with added touches that we did not expect. Very comfortable bed and very quiet nights sleep was had. The breakfast was exceptionally good, everything you need was available. The staff were all lovely, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be staying at The Chudleigh again when we are next down to Clacton visiting family. :)

Breaķfast had plenty of choice . Our only feedback was the mushrooms , not suŕe how they were cooked bùt prefer them fried .

It was a really cold day and it would have been nice if the heater had of been switched on to warm the room before arrival.
