Claremont House

The property is very dated. The beds were so uncomfortable. There was no one available between the hours of 8pm and 7am. If you forgot your key, lost it, or needed something. No one would answer. There was s notice inside the bedroom, stating this.

Very pleased with the service and the i staff.

Clean well situated for bars & restaurants not a bad breakfast (cooked) for the money awesome

Room was a dump, small, and no ambiance. Our window faced the dining room window 20 feet away. Bathroom was gross. Bed was uncomfortable. I think a hostel would have been better. Only good thing was the morning breakfast and the nice gentleman who prepared it

Good place for a short trip

It’s a trip to a third world country but it’s England. Mattress must be 100 years old. Have to take turns turning around. Cannot believe Expedia listed this dump.

The property was tired out bedroom was ok, clean and bright but very tired. But for what we paid I have no complaints.

The young lady who received me was really very nice. The place was fairly clean in general. The facilities are really poor, however. I reported one of the two showers on the floor as being completely unusable, given the complete lack of water pressure. The other one had just barely enough to get wet. The hand-wash faucets didn’t work in either of the toilets on the floor. None of these was repaired. As for adventure , a small dog belonging to someone who visited made its way up the stairs and did its business on the carpet in front of my door. Thankfully, I saw it in time. I will not stay there again. For the same price, I recommend you go somewhere else, too.

Good place for a couple of nights, amazing stuff. They just need to improve WiFi
