Where do I start! When we arrived, we had no check in instructions/information regarding how check in would work. We pressed the doorbell but no one answered. We then found the front door was open so walked into the hallway with no instructions on how to check in. We heard some noise through the corridor so walked through and knocked politely to raise the attention of the lady cooking. She looked blankly at us and called someone out. The lady called Isobel came out and looked at us as if we had walked into her private house (we felt like intruders even though wr we’re still in the guest area) We received no welcome and got they key for us and showed us to our room. We had booked a twin room as this was all that was left for £110, quite expensive already we thought! When we sat on one of the beds the creek was horrendous, it sounded like it was about to fall apart. This was obviously something they knew about as quickly exited our room when we arrived. Unfortunately, due to such an unwelcoming atmosphere, we didn’t feel as though we could report this/anything would actually be done, so ended up having to share the one functioning bed between us! The breakfast smelt so awful and greasy in the morning that we decided to just simply leave and find somewhere else for breakfast. It depends what you are looking for, but I’d probably say it was worth about £10 per night not £110! Very disappointing. We also have a video of said creaky bed.

The hotel is located near the train station and is convenient to pubs and stores. The room was very hot and there is no A/C. The fridge wasn’t cleaned out and didn’t chill well. Steps inside are narrow would be difficult for elderly. The breakfast hostess was lovely and we enjoyed our meal. The dining area was well kept.

Centrally located hotel within walking distance of city’s shopping and entertainment. Room was basic, but very clean. Free parking limited to 4 bays outside the front door, I got a parking space, but may be problematic if hotel gets busy. Good value for money, recommend.

A small but really friendly, family environment clean and quiet rooms. Great breakfast. There is a whole bunch of different restaurants near by. and a fantastic cocktail bar close by. I will definitely re book again.

The room was lovely expect the window was loose only had one screw in so had to be careful when open and also the door was hard to locked and open with the key to the room. when you look out of the window there as no view expect a piles of rubbish in the back garden.

I booked on the Saturday evening for Sunday till Monday nights and paid in full, turned up at the property at 12.17 pm but wasn’t let in due to the lady stating that checking time was 9pm (WHICH WASNT STATED ON ANY WEBSITE) the booking confirmation said check in after 2pm nothing about 9pm. The woman who spoke through to intercom was very rude and raised her voice when me and my partner remained calm and didn’t raise our voices ONCE, she would not even taking my confirmation number and said I could have a full refund if I phoned up at 9 am. I did so and when calling up the next day, the same lady answered and stated it wasn’t her from the night before, said she’ll have to speak to a manager and call right back, but didn’t and when trying to call back I received no answer and no refund. I’m not happy with this place as we had travelled quite far to be left on the streets with no where to go, money taken and not compensated and unaware of the IMPORTANT information that was left out while booking. I will be in contact again until I get my refund.

apart from good location (for me), comfortable bed & extremely humongous TV (unnecessary) in the room nothing was good. noisy, & not clean at all. Hotels.com needs to verify the images as they were misleading regarding cleanliness. I will not stay there again & definitely will not pay more than £30 per night.

My wife and i was booked in for one night unfortunately the wife caught Covid 19 so we had to cancel i sent proof of pcr test still waiting on refund .
