Staff friendly and helpful. Food excellent.

breakfast is good for us. parking area just behind the hotel. The room area is bigger than our expected.

Had a fantastic stay the food was excellent and the rooms were nice and clean. Staff nice and friendly the pud/restaurant was very nice and had plenty of parking. Also the breakfast was very good

Here’s what we were disappointed with; The check-in service was unprofessional and not friendly at all. A simple greeting “how was your journey” is basic etiquette for a hotel, but this was not given by the staff. The bed and pillows were most uncomfortable. The heating in the bedroom was set too high, and even with our window open we hardly slept. The Castle Hotel should be renamed The Castle Pub Hotel. Very noisy till early hours of the morning from other guests. The breakfast was very disappointing: my scrambled eggs took 30 minutes-why? The toast was cold and soggy, 1slice was burnt. We will never return nor recommend to stay at The Castle Hotel again.

Best hotel i have ever stayed in and would definitely recommend it to all. Will definitely be back 10 out of 10

comfortable room - bath robes a nice touch. good food, Altogether a very pleasant stay. Only slight drawback was speed of food delivery, but like other hotels we stayed in recently the hotel is obviously struggling for a full staff complement. Would definitely stay again.
