Convience of half way point for our trip to the obx

Bed was very hard, no tissues, no mirror in the room outside of bathroom and the shampoo in the shower was watery. Room was bare bones not cozy and comfy.

Staff were very pleasant and helpful!

They didn’t have soap for the bathroom. Didn’t have much food for the complementary breakfast. No fresh fruit, no eggs, or cereal other than lucky charms. The water smelled bad and so did the whole hotel.

Entering the hotel the ac worked good in the lobby. But the elevator and the hallways were hot, they used two fans to cool the halls. Very unsafe for small children.

Check in was smooth and staff gracious and informative. Room was on second floor and two large fans were moving air because hall wasn't air conditioned. Bed and pillows should be replaced, they were showing their age with soft worn spots. Noisy occupants on third floor made sleeping difficult.

The room smelled terribly chemical. The water smelled very metallic. There was no AC in the elevators or on the floor outside of the room. It was So hot walking the hallways and they had giant Fans in the hall. We were only able to get one room key bc they “hadn’t gotten their order of keys delivered.” And when it was first given it wasn’t activated properly. Very disappointed in the experience for the money spent.

The front desk staff was great! Thank you to Yvette, Dee and Alex for making the stay pleasant. Although there was some issues, they addressed them right away. The only recommendation I would have is daily cleaning by maids, not every other day.

Key reader didn’t work-no room keys available, sink in bathroom was dirty, grabbed extra pillow from shelf which had a dirty sock attached to it. Breakfast was minimal-apparently delivery never arrived
