O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat

Stayed in a 2 Bedroom Valley View Villa for 4 nights. This is our second stay here, we enjoy it so much, we keep coming back. The rooms are exceptional with amazing views, particularly at sunrise and sunset. The spa on the deck, the beautiful walking tracks, delicious food, exceptional day spa, amazing activities for adults and children. Always a relaxing and fun stay. Thank you 😊

I took my parents to visit O'Reilly's to celebrate their 58th wedding anniversary. It was so very lovely and much appreciated.

Lovely villa. The spa on the balcony is wonderful. The beds were very comfortable. Location is amazing . The lost world spa was absolutely fantastic. The birds visiting the balcony was sweet. Amazing nocturnal walk tour and guide

Some planted trees right in front of the balcony need trimmed as the block the view from the spa and the seating area inside. A real fireplace would be awesome

The views, the staff, everything was amazing, we tried buffet for dinner and breakfast, it was amazing food, although the food in general is expensive

The location and views are unbeatable. It is truly a stunning setting. It was very busy with people when we were there, but the area still felt peaceful and tranquil.

We enjoyed our stay overall, but there were some points we were disappointed about. The bed was so soft, it almost felt like a waterbed. We are not difficult sleepers, but my partner had to switch to the extra single bed in the middle of the night, because he woke with a splitting head ache and a seized up neck and back. On top of that, the rooms are extremely noisy (you can hear the neighbours talk) and we were unlucky enough to be staying in between two rooms with screaming kids, starting their days in stereo at 6am... So we did not feel very rested after 2 nights of broken sleep. For the rest we think that if you are located in such a secluded area and your visitors have no other option than to eat at your location, there should be more options for affordable meals. Everything was quite expensive ($70 for the dinner buffet for example). This actually extended to the O'Reillys vineyard: we had decided to treat ourselves to the offered picnic basket on the way up to the accommodation. That was a pretty disappointing experience... $90 for the simple contents of this basket and $12(!) for a lemon lime and bitters was way over the top. We do not complain quickly, but unfortunately the annoyances built up for us a little. However, we do still highly recommend visiting the place, even if just for the day. Lamington is truly worth it!
