Beautiful location.

Rooms a little tired. Unsafe light in one room (bare wire)

Only had the dinner it was expensive but excellent. Wine paddle was delicious too.

"It is like being in another world, a complete disconnect from city life."

An opportunity to explore a new walk every day. Views from your room that invoke a sense of awe.

The cafe staff seem a little run off their feet, as the wait time for coffees had everyone a little grumbly.

"Very nice place for nature walks. Best to avoid holidays though as it gets very crowded."

9.0

Many bushwalking tracks and nature activities readily available. Beds and room were fine. Upstairs bar patio with sunset view was nice.

For room: no outlets near beds, no desk or table top, view was primarily only of the building behind/below us. Restaurant limited to a few fairly expensive meals, and no cafe or restaurant open for a simple breakfast before 8am, and we wanted an early bite before an early birding walk, but couldn't do that here. They should warn guests that they have to drive about 1 hour on a very narrow, mostly one-lane, very winding road (with 2-way traffic and blind corners) through the forest to reach this remote retreat. It is not for the faint-hearted. And we tried to hire a birding guide but they said they were booked out 3 weeks ahead for that, so guests may want to be aware, if you come during school holiday periods. We did a nocturnal wildlife walk, over 2 hours and didn't see any mammals, as they don't seem very abundant here. Many snakes to watch out for as they are venomous.

Loved the location, the staff were friendly and the trails were in good condition. The pizzas were great and the sunset amazing. Free afternoon tea was much appreciated.

The bed was too soft for me (it was a new mattress though). I just prefer a firm mattress. Not a big issue though

Location is everything. Views are great. Lovely pool.

Old mattress and cheap pillows. Very uncomfortable. Terrible restaurant and very expensive. Bring your own food.
