Room servicing was not good. We were missed one day and only minimally done when it was.

Very nice location, very warm and cosy quiet rooms.

We paid £159 with Booking.com which clearly stated STANDARD ROOM, BREAKFAST INCLUDED. Then when we departed, they said that we had only paid £139 for room Only! So we had to pay again for the breakfast. I showed staff my confirmation, but they said they had only been paid £139. So we footed the breakfast bill twice. Which was a disappointing end to a lovely stay.

The room was nice and big with great parking right outside your door :-) everything was perfect. The breakfast was very nice and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I will definitely book this venue for my next stopp over for business

The accommodation was spacious and nicely decorated, no bling thank goodness. All the basic niceties of an overnight stay were already in the room, ie coffee/tea making bits, biscuits, glass bottle water. The bathroom was also spacious and again nicely fitted out with a bath and a separate shower, although getting the water temperature right in the shower was not as easy as we would have liked. Cooked English breakfast was also very good. There was plenty of parking and the Fox is only a few minutes (less that 10) walk from the Abbey and the shops.

It would have been nice to see the more usual open display of Continental breakfast option rather than order these.

The room was a good size; large comfy bed; great shower; clean; heating and air con; tea and coffee provided; huge TV. Check in was easy.

The room was at the back of the pub in an annex in the carpark. This car park was also a walk through to a large public carpark behind - could be busy and noisy during the day. The room was a little tired in places - wobbly wooden floor planks, missing handles on cupboards. The bar man on Saturday night was quite rude when we came in at 10.30pm wanting a drink - reminding us a few times he was locking up in a few minutes. We has no intention of staying late but it made us feel uncomfortable having our drinks.
