Whirlpool 😁 1a Lage, super zentral, ohne extremen Lärm Einrichtung des Zimmers, Fensterfront und Bank, großes Bad, Schminkspiegel, Ablage in Bad, stimmungsvolles Licht aus mehreren Lichtquellen, Föhn mit Aufsätzen vorhanden Geschichtsträchtiges, schönes Gebäude, tolles dazugehöriges Restaurant

Es war nicht ganz so einfach den Eingang zufinden. Sehr verwirrend war für uns zunächst auch, dass das Restaurant El Sol und das Hotel zusammen gehören, bei einer telefonischen Nachfrage wurde das aber aufgeklärt. Da das Gebäude so schön ist, wird es auch gerne fotografiert, also nicht freizügig an Fenster posieren, außer du willst das. Wie in anderen englischen Unterkünften sind die Wände und Fenster recht hellhörig (damit muss man rechnen ;) dafür war es aber am Wochenende über Nacht Recht ruhig. Es ist zu erwähnen, dass es keinen Lift gibt und man über eine schmale Treppe hinauf zu den Zimmern kommt. Das ist jetzt viel Geschriebenes aber nicht als Negativ, sondern als nette Hinweise für andere Gäste gedacht

The hotel is very central and located within a very historic building. The room was clean and they provide tea, coffee, water, cereal and two packet croissants. There is a mini bar if Required.

Slight points of improvement are the main entrance door to the building is difficult to open at night. The toilet + shower has a loud macerater. Points to consider are the noise from the street if you are in a front facing room (lots of drunk revellers) and also accessibility, if you struggle with stairs or uneven surfaces, this is not the hotel for you.

No actual breakfast offered, but free cornflakes, muesli and a couple of croissants in the room if we wanted them was a nice touch.

It is a fairly noisy location on a Saturday night.
