The Sun Hotel

Beautiful building right in the centre of the town. Room was small, but cosy and clean. Staff was kind enough to keep our bags before check-in

It can get a bit noisy at night on the street with the surrounding terraces and even at 5am because of some cleaning works done outside

Location, right in centre, 1 min from Cathedral. Restaurant downstairs, staff welcoming. Great little place with themed rooms, just be aware the Cathedral bells will wake you up on a Sunday at 8, even if you didn't get in til 3!

Good location, nice history to the building

Very noisy as it is in the city centre. Not completely clear o. Instructions of where the entrance is and the spa bath which was the main reason we got the room was very loud and barely worked

I didn't think that breakfast was included when I booked the room. When I got to the room I found that that cereal was provided.

I wish that the information was provided for checkout.

Breakfast was limited. There wasn’t enough milk for the cereal and only marmalade to put on the croissants.

The window above the double bed was broken and couldn’t be opened. It was sweltering despite two fans.

The property was exactly as described, it was very clean and comfortable bed. Very effective fan for the hottest night of the year.

Outlook from window was grim. Awful smell of cooking late in the evening, we must have been above the kitchen of restaurant below.

I loved my room and view of the street and the fact the bed in my room may have been slept in by Charles Dickens
